When I first played Syberia, I was amused of the graphic. One of the most beautiful I've seen. Not only the technique though. The vivid and fairy tale look like picture grabbed me. The style of the games's vision is amazing. It turned me back for decades right in my childhood.

Despite of looking great ,Syberia is clever done. The story is obsessional and interesting. There are few locations in the game-play and all of them has their own atmosphere. The main character -Kate Walker /as well as I remember/ is charismatic and completed. She has her doubts and hopes, problems and ideas, mentioned in the storyline. The adventure of Kate is truly inspirational.

The puzzles are not too hard, not too easy though. I think the balance is great. Some of them need logic, some creativity.

Think it's a movie like game, able to enjoy everyone who like playing quests.

My opinion- 10 of 10. A masterpiece.

The Last Wish of Hans Voralberg

Not as good as Syberia in my opinion. The graphics are very nice, but the story and voice acting really bugged me. The end (from Youkol Village onwards) left a bad taste in my mouth.

Without giving too much away, this second game picks up right after the previous with Kate's boss trying to find her and acquire the deed to the automaton company. Kate decides to help Hans, the ailing owner, find his way to a mystical island of mammoths. Along the way she stops in a Russian town, a monastery, a secluded village, an ice flow of penguin, etc.

Pros: Interesting concept Nice graphics Oscar the automaton The Youki

Cons: Annoying character decisions Cut off dialogue (audio issues) Sarcastic voice acting Hans.
