MV3 was a syndicated music video show for people who didn't have cable. The show featured the latest videos and performances from new wave artists that were currently being played on KROQ FM radio in Los Angeles. It was filmed in local dance clubs and featured dancers, a la American Bandstand and Soul Train, but catered to a younger, hipper audience. It was also the first (and in some cases ONLY) place where you could catch bands like Romeo Void, Falco, and Heaven 17.
