• Samurai Jack : [Samurai Jack climbs the mountain and breaks the tree branch, but the first villager lizard quickly grabs his hand and pulls him up. Jack looks at the lizard villager]  Thank you my dear good friend.

  First Villager : No need to thank me, but I must warn you not to go that way. Aku the master of darkness has taken over my village.

  Samurai Jack : Aku!

• Samurai Jack : The king.

  [Samurai Jack bows before the lizard king] 

  The King : You arrive not a moment too soon. Aku has enslaved my people. Any minute, his drones will storm my hiding place. I will give you our villages most valuable treasure if you-

  [the king lizard pushes the button, plays with the joystick and it lowers the roped platform with the treasure chest on it, and then he stops the platform] 

  Samurai Jack : I have no need for treasure. I seek a portal that will take me back in time.

  The King : A portal? My Priest would know such a thing.

  Samurai Jack : Where is he?

  The King : Aku has imprisoned him somewhere in the city. Go, rescue my people. And we will help you find your portal.

  Samurai Jack : Many thanks.

• The Priest : Thank you my child. I wish I could repay your kindness, but I'm a poor old Priest.

  Samurai Jack : Actually, you can help me. I seek a time portal.

  The Priest : A time portal? I don't know what you're talking about.

  [Samurai Jack begins to walk away and then stops] 

  The Priest : But the grove on the next mountain is ruled by a great tree spirit. Speak to him, he knows everything.

  Samurai Jack : Many thanks.
