The show is alright, the problem is.. Brandy.

I don't think I've ever hated a fictional character more than Brandy, that's saying a lot considering I hate Chloe from Miraculous Ladybug yet I somehow think Brandy is just worse than Chloe. At least with Chloe they "tried" to develop her character, even though it's forgotten by the end of Season 3 lol. The problem with Brandy is she's a complete jerk, it's like sometimes they made her slightly caring towards Whiskers only to just be a jerk again. Like there's no balance between it, I'm fine with her being a snob but at least show that Whiskers does mean a lot to her.

There is a time where Brandy would give up leaving the Amazon Forest just to rescue Whiskers, and that was really sweet tbh. She could have straight up left him there to die, but she didn't. But again, they don't balance out her being a snob and caring for Whiskers. Even the show calls her out on how toxic of a friend she is towards Whiskers, to the point where she lets him drown in quicksand. So I don't understand where the writers went wrong here?? It's like they're very much aware Brandy is so unlikable but "Oh it's Whiskers' only friend" like no it isn't?? Whiskers has a better relationship with Ed than Brandy! He's too dumb to realize it, but I would prefer if they wrote off Brandy and Whiskers had to accept the fact she wasn't a true friend at all.

This show is quite amusing at times with its brand of both word humor and its physical humor. The show's story centers on two animals, a rabbit with the intelligence of a five year old along a serious hygiene problem, and an arrogant, disdainful dog who feels herself to be above all others, with being somewhat self centered. The two have been lost in the jungles of the Amazon due to a heinous mishap and can't seem to find a way out of it. That having been done, they try to make the most of life in the jungle, with the friendship of some of the native inhabitants. Sometimes the two try to escape the jungle and at other times, they are stuck in there for good. With some dirty humor and a fair mix of more sophisticated humor, the show is definitely worth a watch on an afternoon and is good for all ages.

And okay show, but not the best.

I first saw Brandy & Mr. Whiskers on the Disney channel and decided to watch it. While I do like Charles Adler's voice acting, this show don't really make me laugh. I really didn't find it funny. I found Dave the Barbarian to be funnier.

SPOILERS!!! For those who don't know anything about this show, it's about two animals who get stranded in the Amazon Jungle. A snotty and pampered pooch named Brandy and a brain dead rabbit named Mr. Whiskers who wears an orange jail outfit or so that's what it looks like.

The first episode showed them falling into the jungle, meeting Loa-Boa, a snake who is purple and pink and wears earrings. She saves them in the first episode towards the end.

The show is mildly enjoyable, but don't have the charm as some old school shows like Nick's Nicktoons per say Rocko, Angry Beavers and the Ren and Stimpy Show.

The only thing I found kind of funny was when they cue to real photos in the show.

When i was a kid, there was Nick, Cartoon Network, and Disney channel, out of all the shows i watched in the 2000s, what do i watch for pleasure and leisure time, Brandy and Mr Whiskers. Love it or hate it, this show enlightened my childhood,its just your Castaway comedy like Gilligan's Island except the two main characters don't want to leave,they like it here in the amazon. As Characters, Brandy reminds me of my Comfort zone,and Mr Whiskers reminds me of my Crazy side, which in that case, they are great companions, you get a Normal teen girl dog,and a Hyperactive Get dirty Rabbit,a Voice of reason Boa Constructor,Twin Toucan sisters fighting,A Caring but stupid Giant Otter, and a Dictator Gecko which is my favorite character due to that he has a good voice and some good gestures he does in the theme song. Right from the bat, people will obviously call the animation a Gary Baseman short called Cancer, but to me, its a good art style that in some cases, Lola boas design looks like she is moping and Ed looks smug every time he appears, which he sorta reminds me of some *Beep* in the hood. It gives me a feel of Gilligan's island if you put Hillary duff and buster Baxter falling to the amazon and experiencing the amazon fauna acting crazy and just being people, and there you are in the comments, "Brian, this show gives me a feeling,it makes you forget i before e", well think again,after i watched the boarding episode, it told me that you should stick with what your best at, not e before i, and it was MAD who told us that this show switches I before E around, and that's not true.It didn't choose to be Adventure time, It Also Didn't choose to be Steven Universe or Gravity Falls,it just chose to be itself, and I'm happy that Russel Marcus used up such good talent,speaking of, what else is Russel Marcus doing now,*Looks at Wild Grinders, Ricky Sprocket, and The Packages from Planet X* oh,OK. All in all, it had such talent.

When are Brandy puts her jeans on her feet, how she's tails get straight into Brandy's jeans and is there a hole in the jeans?

The show is only good because of brandy, Without her it would be an ok to bad show beacause the other characters are very generic.

For example, whiskers: He is a generic dumb annoying crazy character who gets in trouble almost every episode. I mean, he is not a bad character, he has good moments, but he is also not too good.

Other example, Ed: whiskers friend who only exists to be his friend, nothing else.

I could say more about others but i won't

Anyway, all i was i trying to say is that Brandy is by far the best character in this show, and i think every fan agrees on that. She was supposed to be the unlikeable character like she was in the start of the show, but she was only getting better and better. Yes, she is kinda mean, snob and arrogant, but she is also smart, kind, confident and funny, and that's why everybody loves her.

This is a very very outright bold show. Mostly consists of toilet humor that seems to so very common today. The very first show I seen, had the characters burping/belching, and flatulence/farting as they were laughing about it all. If that is okay with you parents let the kids watch, if not.. I suggest something else. As far I as I am concerned this show belongs on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. This show along with some others are not for children. But that is up to the parents to decide. I can think of so many other shows that could be better suited for children, no matter how you look at a television show, there will be some sort of negative that you will find. Be it violence, toilet humor, sexual innuendos.. etc.

The final say here, is you the parent.

Proof that New Disney Channel is becoming like Classic Nickelodien

This show is beyond great!!!! Disney Channel used to be filled with Zorro and Walt Disney Presents, finally this channel had come around with great shows like That's so Raven and Lizzie Mcguire. Nickelodien used to be for preteens like Kenan and Kel, All That, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Ahhhh Real Monsters, but lately its for 7 year olds and no one older. Disney was turned into a teen channel, and now we have a great kids show Brandy and Mr. Whiskers!!!! Charles Adler and Kaley Cuoco, portray a Wacky Rabbit and a Stuck up Dog, living in the jungle. Disney Channel has finally become for everyone, like Nickelodien used to be.

Another show from Disney Channel a show who had 77 episodes, 2 seasons and it only ran for three years 2004-2006 but at least your job is okay in my opinion.
