Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In one episode, a group of friends, including two boys, can be seen trying to contact the spirit world. However, the scene is done purely for comic effect.
  • A skeleton is seen coming out of a room talking and laughing evilly. In the same scene, white ghost figures are closing up against a boy who is frightened. Although the scene is done purely for comic effect, it might be frightening for small children.
  • One episode focuses on Maddie and London struggling with body image with a fashion designer telling Maddie she's too thin and London being overweight. London starves herself and Maddie develops a binge eating disorder resulting in London fainting during a fashion show and Maddie getting sick. This episode may be triggering to viewers who suffer from eating disorders or body dysmophia.
  • The show can be mean-spirited at times (which is why it wasn't as popular as "Hannah Montana") much like "Friends." Not intense though. Mean-spirited by Disney standards, as The WB's influence started to really take over Disney for a time. More mean-spirited than "Hannah Montana" or "Even Stevens," or "Wizards of Waverly Place," for sure.
  • Zack and Cody will get into fights sometimes, nothing too intense.

However, the twins' father walks in on them while Mark and his girlfriend kiss due to the bottle landing on her.
