The Women is based on a play written in 1936 by American writer Clare Boothe Luce [1903-1987]. The play was made into a movie, also titled The Women (1939), in 1939.
There are no male actors listed in the cast, and the original 1939 version of The Women had no male actors, so it is likely that this version has an all-female cast, too. However, it is said that the extras used for the baby character in the final scene are in fact male.
"Mercy" by Duffy.
