Arnold Schwarzenegger will have some famous friends on hand to help him navigate the Celebrity Apprentice boardroom. (Will he say, “You’re terminated” instead of “You’re fired”?)
NBC’s New Celebrity Apprentice, which swaps in Ah-nuld for previous host Donald Trump (wonder what he’s doing now?), has added six boardroom advisors for the upcoming season, the network announced Thursday. And a few of them are already familiar to NBC watchers.

Did NBC just use The Voice Top 10 results night to aggressively cross-promote upcoming premieres of Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love and Hollywood Game Night?
Yeah, sure, but who cares? We got not one but two performances from living legend Dolly Parton, a mildly amusing bit of filler in which Jane Lynch got Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus to sing into a fun-house microphone and an appearance by Pentatonix that makes me wonder if the Peacock Net might be considering a relaunch/reboot/revival of The Sing-Off. (I mean, they brought back Heroes for a minute, so anything’s possible.

The Voice Top 10 is looking more and more like a case of the haves versus the have-nots.
RelatedThe Voice Top 10 Recap: No, Wé
The former group includes five artists who managed to crack the Top 10 of the iTunes singles at the close of voting time — qualifying for the coveted 5x sales vote multiplier.
That almost guarantees that the three at-risk contestants during Tuesday’s results telecast (8/7c on NBC) will come from the latter group.
Granted, downloads are only one component of the elimination equation — there’s also online, Facebook and Voice app votes to consider — but over the last several seasons,...

Highlighting Lifetime Television's recent decision to ramp up the number of its original movies from 12 to 18 this year, the cable network showcased two of those upcoming movies to TV critics and pointed to a teen-education program that it's tying in to one of them. Lifetime execs and talent were on hand Friday at the Television Critics Assn. press tour at the Universal City Hilton to talk about the movies Lies My Mother Told Me, starring Joely Richardson and Hayden Panettiere, and Mom at Sixteen, starring Jane Krakowski and Mercedes Ruehl. Lies premieres 9 p.m. March 7, while "Mom" premieres at 9 p.m. March 21. Trevor Walton, senior vp original movies at Lifetime Entertainment Services, said the network is planning a national campaign aimed at preventing teen pregnancy in conjunction with "Mom" to encourage teachers to have active discussions with their students about the subject after viewing the movie.
