Sex & Nudity

- There is a fairly in-depth discussion of how males with spinal cord injuries have sex. Some explicit language and descriptions of sexual acts.
- There are a couple brief clips from an instructional video meant to show how sex can be performed by men with limited mobility. There is brief nudity, including a woman's backside and breasts. The nudity is in a sexual context but there is no sex performed or simulated in the video.
- The men discuss their sex lives, including re-learning how to masturbate, how to pick up women for sex, and teasing of one player for dislike of "big tits."

- The men play wheelchair rugby; they try to stop the opposing player by ramming their wheelchair into the opposing player's chair. Sometimes this is a violent hit and the player is toppled.
- One character is seen experiencing a life-threatening medical crisis in a hospital.

- Bob describes having lost all four limbs to a sudden childhood illness; this clearly is a frightening idea to the children he explains it to. The other players also describe the mishaps that left them paralyzed.
- Some scenes are filmed at a rehabilitation facility where various patients are struggling to re-learn simple tasks. To see adults so helpless might be disturbing to children. Another scene is filmed at a facility for wounded veterans, many of whom are young people missing limbs.
- The animosity between the American team and Joe Soares is often very intensely out in the open.
- The game itself is extremely intense and rough.
