The film received its first and only broadcast as part of "Globo Repórter" program. However, due to its controversial nature at the time, right after this exhibition the military regime confiscated the film which would only surface at several festivals in the early 2000.
The weapons used in the film were provided by the police forces of São Paulo. Though they cooperated with such, the ones who were in the actual case were forbidden to appear in the film - even though several witnesses and people who part of the case do appear in the film.
