Part two of three. The Austrian delegation organize a snow and ice event, but can't find anyone in the area who can do ice sculpture. Eventually, local artist Graham is persuaded to create a scale model of the Alps as a centerpiece for the display. Elsewhere, sweetshop owners Paul and Carol attempt to explain the finer points of their stock to the visitors and the mayor of Seefeld makes a flying visit to drum up support for the twinning.
Part three of three. The Seefeld contingent hope to melt the hearts of the Sedbergh residents with their snow and ice event, racing against time to turn the school gym into an Alpine grotto. Band master Alan Lewis hopes the spectacle won't be dampened when their drum kit gets left out in the rain, but there's little time left to impress the Cumbrian residents before the winning twin town is announced.
