Sex & Nudity

  • The victim at the center of the trial had been raped, and there are brief references to this and to evidence such as pubic hair. One such instance, the words of a prosecutor detailing the events of the crime, is graphic in its description of things like the liquid being left in the victim.
  • A witness for the trial is introduced in the documentary as a 14-year-old self-described prostitute.

Violence & Gore

  • A still image shows a dead woman in bloodied clothing briefly for the purpose of the documentary. More shots of this are seen again later several times.

Profanity

  • There are 2 instances of a racial slur that is not being used in a derogatory sense, and 3 instances of the same slur which is derogatory.
  • One witness testimony uses the word b**ch, wh**e, and s**t.
  • A string of swears including s**t and f**k during a person's recollection of events pertaining to his working on the case.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A witness for the trial is introduced in the documentary as a 14-year-old self-described cocaine user.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Several still shots of a crime scene including the bloodied victim.
  • The entire theme of the documentary involves discussion of the rape and murder of a woman all throughout. At one point, a prosecutor's testimony is read which describes the events leading to the victim's death. It is somewhat graphic and disturbing in its description of the rape and the victim's feeling loss of her life.
