The original stories of Spotless were written on napkins at a bar in Denver, Kelsey still has them.
The power cord on the lens adapter shorted out the camera, essentially frying the electronics. This happened on the first take of the first day of shooting.
The "Tattooed Car" in the film was a promotional item, raffled off at a party just prior to filming. Later, the car was impounded from the house of the man who won it, and eventually destroyed. The car was one of a kind, and hand painted by tattoo artist Chris J-tot of Phantom 8 Studios in Englewood Colorado. The car took four months to complete and 10 seconds to destroy.
