During the scene when Officer Delinko is chasing Roy in his police cruiser, he backs it into a tree and the bumper of his car is clearly banged in. Then it changes view and he hits another tree with the front of his car. However, when the rear bumper is visible again, there is no damage done to the back or the front bumpers and the car is in perfect shape, as though no tree-hitting had occurred at all.
When the burlap bag is placed on Roy's head, the bag changes position after they come through the trees.
The drinking cups at the seafood restaurant move when the Captain and Officer Delinko are eating lunch in the first half hour of the movie.
The number of Delinko's police car changes from 18 to 24.
In the scene where Officer Delinko comes to tell Roy's parents that Roy has been bitten by a dog and taken to the hospital, the officer has a toothpick in his mouth. During the course of the conversation after that, when he has his back to the camera, you do see the toothpick; in all of the front shots of him, the toothpick is missing.
The "hoot" sound effects used in the movie are not those of burrowing owls, which have a high-pitched call approximately two octaves higher, but that of a much larger owl, the great horned owl.
The Captain tells Officer Delinko to "be sure to plug it in", referring to the three wheeler. However, throughout the film, it is obvious that the three wheeler is gasoline-powered.
Towards the end of the film, Mullet Fingers is making a last ditch attempt to get the construction to stop. At one point, Mullet Fingers' mouth says, "Damn" and the audio says, "Dang".
Beatrice and Roy enter the trailer to find that Mullet Fingers has tied up Mr Muckle. Later, Officer Delinko comes and knocks on the front door. As soon as Officer Delinko enters, we see Roy and Mullet Fingers slip out the back door unseen. Beatrice doesn't leave the trailer yet we see her moments later outside. How did she make her escape?
