Two lost souls could just end in a lost movie!
mario_c25 September 2006
This movie was not what I expected! It may sound a bit rude to begin my comment, but that's exactly what I feel about it! I expected a better film, a better story, or, at least, I expected that this movie wouldn't pretend to be something that it's not… a poetic film! In fact, the only poetic thing is the beauty of Carla Chambel! Maybe some scenarios too, a sunrise in the mountains, the river… but beyond all this, nothing else is poetic in this movie! Theatrical it might be the right word…

The beginning of the movie it's not bad: two strangers (a man and a woman) meet in a gas station of a highway. In spite of not knowing each other she wants to go with him, and she goes…but soon we find they are two lost souls, with no place to go, and then it starts to be boring! It's always the same two characters, having dialogues that seem to be monologues, without any sense… (Why not try it in a theater play? It might be more appropriated)…

About the technical details, it's just hilarious! I thought that road scenes made up in the studio were something from the 50's movies! (The actors are inside a "fake car", while some recorded street images are passing behind them, simulating they are really on the street).

Although all this, I must say the actors' performance was not bad… I appreciate the work of both of them (Rogerio Samora and Carla Chambel), and they just did what was written to their characters, it's not their fault…The real problems are at the argument and at the failed purposes of the director!
