Keenan‘s death was announced by her sister, Linda, who revealed that she died from a massive cerebral hemorrhage. “It is with tremendous sorrow that we report the passing, due to a massive cerebral hemorrhage, of a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and pioneering financial journalist,” Linda’s statement read. “Terry was a trailblazer who credited much of her success to her beloved mother’s emphasis on education, which led her to Holy Names Academy in Albany, NY, and a math scholarship to Johns Hopkins University.”

Outspoken anchor Lou Dobbs is returning to television a year after his public exit from CNN. He has signed a multi-year deal with the fledging Fox Business Network where will develop and host a new daily program that will launch in the first quarter of 2011. He will also appear on a number of Fbn programs for analysis and commentary. Lou Dobbs is taking his gripes elsewhere. The longtime CNN personality announced on the air Wednesday that, not only is he leaving the network, but that it would be his last show. He's ready to "pursue new opportunities," said the 64-year-old Dobbs, who's been with CNN since its inception in 1980. His original nightly show, Moneyline, eventually morphed into his current gig, Lou Dobbs Tonight. CNN host Lou Dobbs, whose outspoken views on U.S. immigration have made him one of the most controversial figures on television, said Wednesday he is leaving the 24-hour cable news network immediately because he wants a freer platform to state his opinion.
Dobbs, who announced his departure near the start of his nightly news and commentary show, did not say where he plans to go, after nearly 30 years at CNN.

The Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning journalist joined CNN at its inception in 1980 and has held several positions there since, including anchor of Lou Dobbs Moneyline and Lou Dobbs Tonight as well as president of CNNfn and executive vp at CNN until 1999.
