Well, you can't fault the title for its honesty

Do I really need to write much? You obviously should know what your getting here. However B-Movie buffs beware, it is not even worth your time as a terrible movie buff to see this. At the end of the credits it is explained the entire movie was made in 8 weeks on a dare. I guess this being made on a dare does explain it some. However, how could it take so long to make? This film is so utterly poor I have no idea how it wasn't slapped together in an afternoon. Defintly a modern day Manos:The Hands of Fate. Its your call as to which is worse. Personally I'd rather smash myself in the face with a hammer then ever even think about this movie again.

As Seen on the CD Cover

The title of the film says it all. It's aptly titled 'The Worst Horror Movie Ever Made' and it delivered its promises. I think it should not be called the best of its genre only, as I really think this is a serious contender for the Worst Movie Ever Made.

The film has all the ingredients to make it an abominable film. Poorly scripted dialogues, lame actors & actresses, childish make-ups, not-so-funny scenarios, and the none existent storyline / plot. Perfect !

I do not know whether to get angry because the film is an utter crap, or to blame myself by watching it even though I should have known what to expect, worst horror film. I guess I'll blame it on the latter, as I failed to heed the warning. However, forgive my ignorance. As many times before, even though the front cover of the film speak of praise of the film, some of the time the film is anything but nice.

Anyway, film viewers who like B-horror flick might like this film. To the rest of us, find other film instead.

Plays on the fact its low budget!
rey_de_tds_viv06 October 2008
I liked this film for what it was trying to be and what it was. Not what a horror movie should be. If you have friends and enjoy watching b-side horrors, or even just mocking normal films, Then you should appreciate this film. It has a very home-made feel to it for obvious reasons! and although some would accredit this to the poor quality of the film its what makes it what it is. This film was made by a group of friends, for groups of friends. Its not made for movie connoisseurs or critics. Its meant to be lighthearted and playful. In my eyes this is a very low budget prequel to the grindhouse compilation: In the sense that it both mocks and holds upon high the nature of the b-movie (A little less of the latter in this film haha).

My summary is just watch it. If not for the subtleties in the acting which clearly portray its casual nature, then for the fact that its very name is "the worst horror movie ever made". If you are focused and watching it and find after half the film you haven't chuckled even once then don't bother with it! It's clearly not for you.

Not just a clever title. More of a comedy

As for horror - yes, there are monsters, vampires, zombies and heaven knows what else - and it is a good thing they stated what each was or you may not know. As for a movie, it was actually shot pretty well, though the FX are...well...fitting the title.

The acting is about what you would expect. The plot line reminds me of some drawn out stories my daughter comes up with that includes lots of "and then...and then...and then..." without end. It seemed that everyone had an idea they wanted to fit in so it was all shoved in.

However, if you don't mind the more-or-less okay acting, and the cheezy fx and storyline, and don't mind religious jokes, this movie is hilarious. Where else would you have a zombie Jesus stating that it was his turn to eat of the body and drink the blood.

If they were trying to make a real horror movie, this would be a disaster, but since they knew they were being silly, this movie scores a lot better than you'd think.

A few flaws, but overall enjoyable

"The Worst Horror Movie Ever Made" was an experiment of some sorts by shock master Writer/Director Bill Zebub. This film was never introduced as a spectacular film, but it is hardly the worst horror movie ever made. The result of this "experiment" is a decent horror/comedy. The horror part should be taken with a grain of salt, because like most horror films, this movie is not too scary.

The plot is complicated, yet not. It mostly focuses around a couple who are running away from the police after all their friends mysteriously get murdered during a party. During their "great escape", the couple run into a long series of bizarre horror clichés that give the main setup of the film. Yes, the experiment was to include every cliché of horror movies and to pack it into one tight parody of horror films.

The plot can sometimes be hard to find and follow, but there is enough humor throughout to keep an average viewer entertained. There are different types of humor presented in this film, and some are more obvious than others. Whether it be the giant crap monster that attacks a couple (crap joke) or it be the King of Diamonds at the tarot card reader (subtle music joke).

Like other Bill Zebub films, the budget is rather low, and the actors consist mostly of people who probably don't act for a living. A lot of people may be turned away by this, but the acting does not take away from the film. These actors are hardly the worst. There may have even been worse acting in big Hollywood productions, but anyway- the actors do a fine job in delivering the material, and the leads- Jean Potter and Rocco Maritone III act well together.

Do not be deceived by the rough appearance of this film, if you watch it with some friends, you will surely appreciate this film for what it is, and don't be too offended by things, otherwise you won't be able to appreciate this film or any of Bill's other films.

It is What it Advertises

This movie is truly the worst of the worst. As bad as it is, it is still a lot of fun and for fans of B cinema, I recommend it. I wish I could give you a description of the story but there really is no story. A lot of what happens is completely random and out of the ordinary. The special effects are worse then you could ever imagine and done like that on purpose. The camera work is... well, hard to describe. The acting is pretty bad and over the top at times, but this just adds to it being the worst movie ever made. The only problem I had with this film was I watched it by myself and without a group of friends this movie will get rather repetitive. Still, this was a lot of fun and it's got my vote. 7/10

don't you dare watching this
blackwolf_redeye22 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
bottom line this is the worst movie ever ! if you are going to watch it, be ready to waste 2 hours on nothing important ,maybe the only good thing in the whole movie is the music "some people might hate it too" or maybe for the sex scenes , because its full of nudity and meaningless sex .

its not even funny , the tried to explain the lame stuff in the film in the beginning ,but still they got to many lame stuff , u can see the boom microphone in many scenes this movie is class F !!

they are only 10 actors and cast , they do everything ! its worst than a movie done by 10 years old and yeah i gave it 2 not 1 , because there are some funny scenes "like 2 or 3"
