Scholars will continue to dispute whether or not King Arthur actually held court at Tintagel. One thing is for certain: Sir Lancelot most likely did not exist (but experts cannot be sure). For his own part, King Arthur as well was most likely not a reality. But it could have all happened just as legend says, and if it did, Tintagel is likely the place where it all went down.
