Where is Tom????

I don't understand replacing Tom by Tyra is like replacing Alex Tribek by Ryan Secret doesn't make any sense. I don't care about Tyra and her fancy dresses this is a dancing competition not a run a way show. It seems that she wants to be the center of the show. Why fix it when is not broken bring back Tom and Erin

Tyra was a horrible host on America's Got Talent and she is just as bad on Dancing With The Stars!!!! Please with bring Tom or find a host that whi understands what it means to be a host

I always look forward to the new season of Dancing With The Stars, but this season was a big disappointment. I loved watching all the dancers, but I truly feel like it wasn't about them, it was all about Tyra. It was always Tyras picture on any promo for the show. It should have been the dancers, the pros, or even the judges, not always her. I feel like all her costume changes was her trying to out shine the dancers. I really wish Tom and Erin were still the host, they made it fun and all about the dancers. Don't think I'll be watching anymore DWTS if Tyra is hosting.

Bring back Tom!

Tom helped to keep the show going. I won't like the phoniness. Might skip this year and I've watched since the beginning.

Tyra Banks is detrimental to the show. Just a way to showcase her modeling. Tom was a great host. Erin was good too but with Covid19, I can see that her role was not necessary. They never should have switched. Voting is just a popularity contest like never before. West coast people vote before the show even airs? How can this give good dances and dancers their due? These 2 things need to be fixed. NOW. But I love dancing and the pros.

We've been watching DWTS for many years. Tom Bergeron may well have be3n the best host on TV. Replacing him wth Banks makes no sense. She was lousy on America's Got Talent and it's unlikely she'll do better here.

What was ABC thinking when they replayed Tom Bergeron with Tyra Bank . I have watched DWTS since the beginning and Tyra is so Bad I don't even want to watch it anymore!! Worst move they could have made for this show ! Goodbye Dancing with the Stars !

I've been a fan of this show for years: I appreciate the production, from costumes, decor, dresses, lighting, etc.

The reason I only give it 8 stars rather than 10 is the political bias, which becomes more obvious -and annoying- with every season, and makes everything look more fake than glitter...

Now that the egocentric Tyra Banks is finally gone (it's been replaced by Julianne Hough, a dancer herself, and sister to one of the judges), I am back to enjoying the show.

Sadly, Len Goodman, the most senior of the judges, is also gone - in a final sense. He was a more conservative judge, who balanced Bruno Tonioli's over the top enthusiasm :)

I am a little surprised that Disney (who now owns the show) has not replaced Len. It's down to three judges now, and they are too much in sync to offer a wide "lens".

All right, so Dancing with the Stars is what it is. It's a entertaining show for people who like music and or dance. For me, over the past 12 years, it has become something of a tradition for me and my family to watch.

Every season is different, and every season there are those who complain about the season's cast not being "stars." However, anyone who has watched this show knows that the term "star" is used subjectively- you are not going to find current major movie stars doing this show, although you may find a former A-lister doing the show. That is just the nature of this show.

There are always dancers on the show who have more dance experience than others, and it is never going to be a completely even playing field. But for me, and countless other viewers, that is what makes this show what it has become over the years!

So, watch and enjoy it!

I've read a lot of the comments and the complaints against Tyra are right on the money. She strutted out like it was Top Model on AGT too and it drove me nuts. I have watched some of the seasons but with her hosting, there is no way I can this season. She's so fake and isn't professional. This is not the Tyra show. But she acts like it is. I would be interested to hear how the contestants and pro dancers really feel about her on the show. It appears to me that the ratings have tanked since she joined. I loved Tom. He was so sweet, charming and he put the emphasis on the dancers and judges. Not himself.

Out of all the programs we see on television,I think "Dancing" has stood the test of time.Carrie Ann Inaba,Bruno Tunioli and Len Goodman are the judges who critique the moves and faults of 12 famed celebrities with their Professional dance partners.Each celebrity, goes through an intense training and workout to polish a specific routine.It is like "basic training" at dance school! I love this show,because the viewer realizes that we are all human and not perfect.Every person must work hard, at achieving a goal.Every week finds an elimination,where one pair is taken out by popular vote of the judges and by viewer response.

This show is so wonderful, and Goodman,Tunioli and Inaba help the celebrities realize there is so much fun on the dance floor.

Bravo to the cast for every amazing "transformation".

This show is honestly pretty average considering the ratings but it does focus very much on dancing and celebs who wish to become dancers after watching it for a couple of years it gets a little unappealing but its pretty flawless at its finest.

Bring back Tom! This isn't about the dancing anymore it is about Tyra and her wardrobe. Why is her face the face of DWTS? Tom's never was. I want to see the dancing, so I have learned to fast forward thru Tyra's STUPID open ended questions! And when she makes blunder....its everyone's else fault. At least when Tom made a blunder he owned it and was also very family friendly. Tyra is a model...if only she could shut her mouth like a model,, it might be tolerable. She is not a skilled commentator. Even Erin was better than this. Back to the fast forward button....My opinion may not mean anything ,but there it is.

Unwatchable Live

This used to be of my favorite shows and was a Tuesday morning conversation topic at work. Then came Tyra to destroy the show... I no longer watch live and haven't bothered with the most recent week because I find having to fast forward through Tyra to be annoying/frustrating. I've found myself swearing at the TV anytime I see her face or accidentally hear her voice. I will definitely not be watching another season with her involved and almost hope this is the end. Maybe then networks will realize Tyra destroys projects she becomes involved with.

Ok. As someone who has watched this show on and off since Apollo Onos amazing season I am applauled at the new direction. My girlfriend and I made it past the first dance and then it had to be turned off. What is this? Dancing with the stars or Americas next top model? The way Tyra strutted out was an embarrassment. Tom kept the audience entertained with his wit. I can see this show either getting cancelled midseason or at the end of this season. Either way another viewer is lost

Miss Tom and Erin terribly. I stopped watching the show with Tyra. I HATED all her crazy outfits. Was the show about HER or the Dancers? I will no longer watch the show in the future with her as a host.

I know I'm getting older and they are not looking at my demographic, but I used to enjoy the show. This year, having a law breaking influencer it's a very low standard. Why reward someone who did something incredibly wrong? My watch is over.

I think DWTS is one of the greatest primetime shows to come to America. It is unique because ballroom dancing is rarely televised & had a very small following (this is before dancing with the stars). What makes DWTS so unique is the the set, the costumes, the dancers..everything is so classy & glamorous on this show! Even the audience is all dressed up!

The judges Carrie Ann, Bruno, & Len are also tough critics but polite. If they every are offensive they quickly apologize & they even banter amongst themselves. They are still very respectful to the stars.

I read in the other comments that the show is rigged/biased/favoritisms..and honestly for all i care it could be true, but any competitive show could be rigged. whose to say American idol isn't rigged? or so you think you can dance? or America's best talent?

This is def a family show (although some outfits and dances are a bit sensual) but it still is pretty appropriate for all ages.

DWTS is the #1 dance show in America.

my favorite show

I started watching Dancing With the Stars in the middle of the fourth season, and I absolutely loved it. At first, I wanted Billy Ray Cyrus to win, even if he was a bad dancer, because he is one of my favorite country singers, and not only because he was on Hannah Montana, although that is how I knew he was a country singer. But after Billy Ray Cyrus lost, I wanted Apollo to win, because he was a good dancer and he was cute. I was really happy when he did win. I like this show because dancing is my favorite sport, and I don't like how people don't think it is a sport. Dancing is a sport! Dancing With the Stars was very suspenseful during the results. And, the dancing was fun to watch because each pair had a completely different idea to choreograph it. Dancing with the Stars is one of my favorite television shows, and I am definitely going to watch it every night it is on, because it is great!

Please don't leave ABC!

I'm a fan of DWTS forever BUT WHY are they leaving ABC! I'm a woman of a certain age and this is a wonderful show for us older babes!! I think it's a money thing!! How many fans are you willing to lose!! Older folks are not going to pay extra money for a show we've been watching for the last 13 years for free! I'm heartbroken that DWTS is leaving ABC and I wish they would reconsider staying so we all can enjoy!! By the way, hopefully they will get another host cause that Banks chick is way to "extra" for this type of show...bring Tom back!!

Stop asking why Tom Bergeron was replaced by Tyra Banks. Political correctness. And for no good reason. Not only that, the quality of the dance numbers is horrible. I am done watching it because I don't like to watch people embarrassing themselves. I am predicting that they will renew the show one more year to avoid making Tyra look like a fool, and then it's over.
