Not that bad

I've watched a few episodes and, where as the plot may not be brilliant, the idea isn't as bad as some people make out; the main characters are NOT the originals from Loony Toons (love them by the way),they are fact the descendants (sp?) of the Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Coyote and Road Runner.

I personally like this show because it's different and actually has a back story and plot unlike other unoriginal cartoons they're starting to spout out now.

Overall view: NOT A BAD IDEA! but you make up your own mind, just don't knock it 'til you try it

Not the Best, but Perhaps Over Hated

While by no means a masterpiece, I feel like this show perhaps takes a little too much flack. By no means is it great, but it is a serviceable, if not mediocre, action show for kids. Compared to the other action cartoons of the time, it certainly doesn't hold a candle, but there are certainly moments where it shows it's potential. Time and time again, there will be moments where the writers set up the possibility for some really great character based story telling, but they never seem to capitalize on it.

Overall, not the worst, but as far as kids shows go, not as good as it can be.

okay stop this show gets Way too much hate, even more than the space jam movie and that's saying something... its not that bad, but I can see why it only lasted 3 years

the art style and plots are horrendous but... for a show that isn't Looney tunes it is great

it was essentially Looney tunes meets batman the animated series (2 incredible shows) just give it a. chance what I did was I tried to forget that this was even involved w Looney tunes because when you do that it is a good show and even though and it is not on par w the original at all but just give it a chance its not good its not bad its just above average

but I couldn't have ever seen this show lasting very long... well another show bites the dust after 3 years 2 seasons

I think Loonatics Unleashed is a pretty good action cartoon! It maybe a big change since this is Looney Tunes characters in sci-fi superhero forms. Don't get me wrong, I still like the old Looney Tunes but something new is pretty good too. Loonatics Unleashed is set in the future in the year 2772 when a meteor hits the Earth and the city of Acmetropolis and the crash of the meteor transforms the descendents of the classic Looney Tunes characters, who become super-powered heroes and yet they still retain the wacky personalities of their ancestors. For the characters we have Ace Bunny (Bugs Bunny's superhero version), who is the team leader and has laser vision powers and martial arts moves. Lexi Bunny (Lola Bunny's superhero version), who is second in command and has brain powers and super hearing. Danger Duck (Daffy Duck's superhero version), has teleportation powers and fire powers. Slam Tasmanian (Tazmanian Devil's superhero version), has super strength and tornado spinning powers. Tech E. Coyote (Wylie E. Coyote's superhero version), has magnetic powers and is the team's inventor and weapon designer and there's Rev Runner (Roadrunner's superhero version) who has sonic speed powers. This show has potential it just needs to be given a chance! You might like this cartoon if you like "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Justice League", "Teen Titans" and "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!".

Is this show used to replace Looney Tunes?

Well, I think that the character design are really bad and the plot is considered fair. However, I was surprised about this show. Instead of featuring the Looney Tunes stars such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, this show features some of the Looney Tunes characters' descendants saving the world with their supernatural power. However, after watching a few episodes, I began to think if this show is used to atone the 2003 movie 'Looney Tunes: Back In Action'. According to Wikipedia, 'Looney Tunes: Back In Action' only manage to gross about $68 million out of the budget $80 million. Are the WB thinking that the Looney Tunes are no longer popularity as what they used to be? In my opinion, this is possible. However, whatever the answer is, this is a good show and is worth watching. I hope the WB would continue to make more episodes on this show. Recommended (of course not to 'Loonatic Unleashed' haters). My Rating: 8/10

Weep for a future without retro goodness.

There will be a time where kids will have grown up without ever seeing the one and only Bugs Bunny kiss (technically) another man on the lips. There will be a time where it won't be Duck or Rabbit season. There will be a time where the Tazmanian Devil will be dubbed politically incorrect.

But so help me now is not that time.

Nobody really wants an 'EXTREME' version of our beloved Loony characters. Whoever it is in marketing who comes up with "Corn Nuts: Corn gone wrong" and "Extreme Doritos" and evidently this festering turd should know that just because they have a degree in business or advertising or whatever doesn't mean they know jack about kids.

I think that they're doing a disservice to children, depriving them of one of the greatest and most iconic shows of all time. This show disgusts me, and it's not just the dated artwork or terrible dialogue. They misuse good voice talent, like Phil Lamarr, Michael Clarke Duncan, Candi Milo, and so many others. It lacks style, humor, character development, and most importantly, heart.

The show, like it's repackaged characters (Slam Tasmanian, Rev Runner, Ace Bunny) is but a shadow of it's former, timeless and beautiful self.

New generation of Looney Toons with a super twist

Although most of us are used to the old version but we all should give a few new things a try.

To tell the truth, yes, at first I thought it was gonna be a waste a time...

But then after understanding the jokes and seeing that it's got a lot action like most shows starring anthropomorphic animals as superheroes that I really like and admire.

It's also got a bit of humor which it'll probably enough to make ya chuckle.

Needless to say It's a bad show as some thought it would be It's just like my folks keep saying try something new you'll probably love it, And Now what can I say I like it.

Poor Chuck

"Well Chuck Jones is dead, lets soil his characters by adding cheap explosions, an American drawn anime knock off style, and give them superpowers". "but sir?, don't we all ready have several shows in the works that are already like this? much less don't dump all over their original creators dreams". "yes! and those shows make us a bunch of cash, and we need more!". "but won't every man women and child, who grew up with these time less characters, be annoyed?". "hay you're right! set it in the future, make them all descendent's of the original characters, and change all the names slightly...but not too much though, we still need to be able to milk the success of the classics".

Well that's the only reason I can think of why this even exists. If you look past the horrible desecration of our beloved Looney Toons, then it looks like an OK show. But then there is already the teen titan's, which is the same bloody thing. All the characters are dressed like batman, they drive around in some sort of ship fighting super villains, they have superpowers, only difference is they sort of talk like the Looney tunes and have similar names and character traits.

This kind of thing falls into the "it's so ridiculous it's good" kind of category. Think of the Super Mario brother's movie, and Batman and Robin. If you want to laugh for all the wrong reasons, check this out. If you are of the younger generation (what this thing is actually intended for), and can look pass the greedy executives shamelessness, then run with it and enjoy.

If you enjoy this cartoon I don't have a problem with you, it's the people who calculated this thing together that I am mad at. You know how they say piracy is like stealing a car; this show is like grave robbing. They might as well of dug up all the people involved with the original cartoon, shoved them on a display, dressed them up in…err pirate costumes, and charged money. If this show wasn't using characters (ones that didn't resemble the Looney Toons in anyway whatsoever) that have already made the studios millions, then this would be fine. But no! For shame Warner brothers, for shame.

If I saw this thing as a 30 second gag on an episode of the Simpson's or Family Guy, I would love it. As it is I just can't believe this was ever made. I would bet anyone that 80% of the people who work on this show hate it. But whatever it doesn't really matter, in 10 years this show will have been forgotten, while the originals will live on forever…or at least until the world ends.

"Coming 2008, Snoopy and the peanut gang are back, and now they have freaking lasers and can turn invisible! Can Charley Brown defeat the evil alien warlord Zapar? Tune in and see."

Seen it a few times, but it's good

Okay. I can see where people will be getting up in arms about this. But you can't expect every child who watches this to say to themselves 'this is ruining classic characters'. I grew up on the cartoon of Ninja Turtles (or hero turtles as it was called here) and consider them classic characters. with the new movie, I don't feel the need to tell every seven year old 'Hey you know that this is rubbish compared to the comics'.

Okay. The 'mad scientist rejected by 'The Academy' and now seeking revenge' plot is a little overused and Tim Curry voices about 10 villains per series but if they made it more like the original cartoon shorts, there would only be more people complaining about the amount of slapstick

I went in with an open mind, ready to experience something new for the first time. When I got through the first, it was clear this was to be the worst. I scrambled for the smallest bit of good I could find, any hint of that classic cartoon charm or even well-written characters.

All they do is have banter with one another, and not in the way that is entertaining, just forced arguments without any substance or witty writing like The Looney Tunes Show and old cartoons had, the characters are inconsistent and stray away from what they're meant to be constantly, and no jokes land. It's trying to be 'cool' and 'edgy' to stay relevant with a modern audience (or at least, at the time it aired) yet failed to do so, and because of all these reasons I have to say that I see where everyone is coming from.

One of the worst shows ever made in the history of television

"Loonatics Unleashed " is the worst thing that could happen to the classic Looney Tunes characters.

The "Loony Tunes" had many spin-offs and different versions in the past (some were good ,others not very much)but "Loonatics" is simply the worst animation based on those characters.

The concept of this series is incredibly stupid and derivative of shows like "The Power Rangers" and "Teen Titans".

There wasn't any similarity with the original characters and the stories are boring and poorly made.

The new designs are ugly and the animation from this cartoon are just pathetic, being both ugly and unappealing.

This horrible waste of animation is a complete failure and this shouldn't have be nothing more than a bad joke.

"Loonatics" is terrible in every possible way.

Season Two Makes Good

The second season of Loonatics Unleashed is all I've been exposed to and it's great to see the time-honored gags given a high-tech futuristic twist. So far the WB channel on Saturday has shown just three episodes, and they seem quite fun to watch.

Slam eating robot parts, and wrestling with the Hugo/Gossamer creature. Duck's speech pattern, flustered demeanor, and getting his feathers scorched. Ace's Bugs-like aphorisms and yet wields a sword with a hilt resembling a carrot. He sounds very much like the singing voice of Bugs from the music tapes and CDs of The Looney Tunes sing Elvis, or The Beatles, or Country & Western. Rev Runner's rambling pentameter sometimes rhymes like the Road Runner comic books of the 1960s. In the classic Looney Tunes, Wile E. Coyote spoke if his antagonist did, so Tech E. can explain the gadgets as much as he likes. Lexi shows that a girl has skills too.

The neon quality of the characters shows their mutated power potential. I expect to see translucent pose-able action figures on store shelves soon.

Come on, give it a chance.

"Loonatics Unleashed" offers a mixed bag of strengths and weaknesses, resulting in an overall rating of 6/10. This show gave me cancer

This show reflects everything wrong with the television industry. It reminds me of the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. I remember as young lad watching this show and having a seizure due to it's degeneracy. I wish I never had eyes so I couldn't witness this travesty. This degenerate hellhole of a show is about a group of dweebs who lack moral standards and likely feast on orphans, I wish humanity never existed so we wouldn't have to witness this travesty, Somehow this travesty against basic decency outlived the far superior Looney Tunes Show. Which only managed to get two seasons. I have never seen such a degenerate show in my life

TLDR: This show gave me Colon Cancer.

An underdeveloped but misunderstood show.

Loonatics Unleashed is a show created by people who made brilliant TV cartoons out of two franchises: Looney Tunes (i.e. Animaniacs, Tiny Toons and Pinky and the Brain), and DC Superheroes (i.e. Batman TAS, Justice League, Teen Titans and Young Justice). Nowadays the company is hell-bent on reviving old shows in a Steven Universe style except way worse. This has been done with Teen Titans, Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 with unfortunate results. Before these came Loonatics Unleashed, a combination of the Looney Tunes characters and the Batman Begins style action hero vibe. While that sounds like a bad idea based solely on marketing, the obvious truth is that this show could have been so much worse and it gets unfair slack for not being Looney Tunes. Guess what? It's not and never was Looney Tunes, so re-evaluate your reasons for hating the show.

The show centers around the distant descendants of the Looney Tunes being affected by an alien meteor that spread supernatural energies across the planet, granting some people superpowers. The Loonatics band together to fight evil and save their planet from anyone who threatens them.

The show was in development hell for a little while before being released in 2005. The main cast all have traits that are either references or copies of Looney Tunes traits. Ace Bunny, who has laser eyes (possibly a reference to Bugs' pyromaniacal love of dynamite) does say"what's up doc?" a few times, but it's not really a running thing. He has some pretty cool stunts in the show, which leads me to mention that the action sequences were pretty cool. There's some real fun to be had in some of the action sequences. But they should have given him a different voice actor with a different approach, and a modernized parody of Bugs' tagline, like "What up, dawg?" That would've been a little funny, especially since Ace didn't flaunt the phrase half as much as Bugs did.

Lexi is a descendant of Lola Bunny from Space Jam who was put in the show to have a female character the same way Lola was put in Space Jam. Lola's personality had little to no development until she was changed into a hyperactive and ditzy woman possibly carrying OCD, so Lexi's lack of development other than cheerful but independent teen girl who was a cheerleader-turned-hero like Kim Possible is UNDERSTANDABLE. And her voice actor was perfect for the role. Absolutely no complaints there.

Danger Duck was the real problem. I'll admit, he was probably the coolest character as heroes go. He could teleport and he had the power to summon glowing orbs that turned into different liquids (and at one ppint, boulders which is cool), and in season 2 he was given a form of hydrokinesis (psychic control of water) which makes a good amount of sense because ducks are waterfowls. And he has some pretty sweet moves. The show put enough emphasis on his gymnastic movement being able to stand on one hand and do double-flips effortlessly.

But Duck had a serious problem: the show flaunted his ego too much because most of the humor revolved around him being a self-absorbed idiot in less funny ways than Daffy could pull off. If they had given more humor to other characters, he would have been better.

Slam Tasmanian, who has super-strength and the ability to create lightning tornadoes was quite a cool character. If you're trying to make a superhero out of Taz, Slam was done EXACTLY like how one should make him. There wasn't enough of slam in the show.

Tech E. Coyote, the "super genius" had his differences from Wile E. Coyote. Instead of being the pathetic, slobbering airhead skilled with machines, Tech was a confident brainiac who was both cool and nerdy at the same time, having some of the finer moments in the series (and an excellent voice role for Kevin Michael Richardson) and some good humor about his nerdiness. The regenerative power was a good touch referencing Wile E.'s unnatural resistance to falling off cliffs and electrocutions, and the magnetic-control power was PERFECT for him due to the genius/machines personality trait.

Rev Runner was both good and bad. As opposed to the Road Runner's silent treatment, Rev was a super-talkative teenager. But that gag of his got old fairly quickly. Thankfully, the fiery spin on the Road Runner's super speed was a good touch, and we got to see his character get expanded on in an episode where we meet his family, capitalizing off of Rev's best-bud relationship with Tech and love of machines, pleasantly contradicting the enemy relationship of Wile E. and the Road Runner. His GPS vision (in layman's terms) was actually pretty cool as well, and it wasn't used enough in the later episodes.

There were a lot of good ideas for Loonatics, such as the action scenes, certain superpowers, good casting choices and some good stories in some episodes. Other episodes were predictable but still offered personality, and there are times when the show was brimming with personality. However, the characters were always in costume and the efforts to parody darker superhero stories like the successful Batman Begins went to waste. But is the show an "embarrassment?" No. The crew just had no confidence in it because blending Looney Tunes with dark and edgy superheroes proves a little hard at times.

However, if the constant parodies in old and modern Looney Tunes skits are any indications, then such a superhero Looney Tunes show can be done. Keep in mind Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network are the world's best choices for Looney Tunes and superhero cartoons. There just has to be an even balance: light parody. You can give it a serious story, but make fun of it in a very similar fashion that the film Galaxy Quest does with Star Trek. And Cartoon Network has made great superhero comedies before. Perhaps you have seen Teen Titans? If they took influence from the action-packed and hilarious Teen Titans for this show, it would have been less polarizing and much funnier. And if they found a balance between referencing the source material instead of ripping off some aspects, the characters would be more original.

But overall, the show was decent with some good action, a few episodes with interesting plot twists, and a great cast. The problem wasn't that the show was bad, the problem was that WB didn't have confidence because they didn't know what to do with it. It's not the "embarrassment" WB says it is. If people want an embarrassment, they should watch Tenn Titans Go or the new Ben 10, Steven Universe rip-offs that shamelessly forget the heart and soul of their source material for a cash-grabbing fad. They can get away with that because Looney Tunes has a more prolific and famous history of more than 80 years, but these shows are way worse than Loonatics Unleashed.

I think this piece of garbage is the best proof that good ideas can be destroyed, why all the American animators thinks that the kids this days wants stupid GI JOE versions of good stories??? the Looney Tunes are some of the most beloved characters in history, but they weren't created to be Xtreme, i mean come on!!! Tiny Toons was a great example of how an old idea can be updated without loosing it's original charm, but this piece of garbage is just an example of stupid corporate decisions that only wants to create a cheap idiotic show that kids will love because hey!!! kids loves superheroes right??? the whole show is only a waste of time in which we see the new versions of the Looney Tunes but this time in superhero form, this doesn't sound too bad but the problem is that this show tries too hard to copy series like batman the animated series, or the new justice league, the result??? bad copies of flash (the road runner) or superman (who else??? bugs bunny) the problem is that Looney Tunes weren't meant to be dramatic, the were supposed to be funny!!!! as i said before this series sucks, and many people wonders why anime is taking all over the world??? this show tries to be dramatic and action packed, but that's something that few series and anime are able to do, if you want to see a good upgrade of an old show watch Tiny Toons, that's an example that it's possible to bring back to life old characters, but with a good story and respecting the original roots. too bad that show is already dead, another corporate wise decision i suppose.

WB falls flat on face

Loony Tunes have ventured (at least) twice into the future. The first time was with the brilliantly funny "Duck Dodgers". The latter time was with this … um … effort. "Loonatics Unleashed" isn't without merit, and might be considered a good product were it not that it isn't up to Warner Brothers quality. WB cartoons are noted for their cheeky humor, appealing at least as much to adults as to children. These pedestrian superhero episodes, on the other hand, cannot fail to convince adults to pass them up.

The premise of the series is that 6 ordinary individuals (2 bunnies, a Tasmanian devil, a duck, a roadrunner, and a coyote) live on the "city-planet" of Acmetropolis and acquire super powers when a meteor strikes the planet in 2772. What's confusing is that the titles section features these individuals with a count-up to 2772 from the 21st Century. Cute, but frelling stupid.

In each episode, the super sextet – amid mildly amusing but essentially banal banter – fight various super villains. For the most part, these are types that appear in every mediocre superhero adventure series and even some of the better ones. Like many mediocre superhero series, this one takes its villains far too seriously for the context. And of course these guys are the only characters that laugh – the usual evil laugh, of course. Why is it that villains in predictable superhero adventures always – ALWAYS – laugh evilly at every opportunity? Animated material of this sort seems to leave laughter exclusively in the province of villains and (occasionally) their henchpeople and/or henchthings.

In point of fact, the makers of this series missed their best bets right from the get-go. The superpowers of the characters are sometimes based on their previous normal abilities, but sometimes not. The problem here is that we don't see enough WB looniness. Lexi and Ace have fairly ordinary biologically generated energy weapons and have virtually no personality traits one could describe as "Bugs-like". What we have here is basically the silly and drekish "Teen Titans", including its overly "modern" animation "look", but with animals. Feh.

The other misstep by the program's creators is (or are) the villains. As noted before, these are not terribly imaginative and do the evil-laugh bit excessively. Amazingly, the writers totally missed the obvious technique of making villains from stock WB characters as well as the protagonists. Adding to the fun could have been, say, Jupiter Sam – as well as The Fudd, still hunting wabbits – as well as Tech E. Coyote converted into a really neurotic villain – and so on. Ah, the sadness of missed opportunities….

Sadly, this whole production has gone into too much overtime (that is, a 2nd season). Nevertheless, we can rejoice that there's something new out there for the 14-going-on-9 crowd. The rest of us can hope for a 3rd season of Duck Dodgers.

Not that bad, actually....

Actually, not that terribly bad.

I was one of the people who thought this show would absolutely, completely suck and destroy the characters I loved as a kid (the original Looney Tunes). Having watched the first season, I think they only had two major problems.

1: They insisted on linking it to the Looney Tunes. 2: They let those god-awful "Extreme" versions of the characters see the light of day. Fortunately, they fixed them after the public screamed bloody murder.

You cannot watch this show with the original Looney Tunes firmly in mind and enjoy it for what it is. Or, for that matter, at all.

What they've got now is a reasonably good action cartoon, far better than most of the tripe that Kids WB has been putting on air in the past few years. Is it true to the Looney Tunes, and something that'll appeal to hard-core fans trying to see their old favorites in a new form? Heck no, that's why I listed Mistake #1. But if you watch it (at least after the first two episodes) without the "this is what they say the Looney Tunes should be" baggage involved, it's actually a pretty good show, and deserves a shot.

Utterly Bizarre Time Capsule

A window into the early 2000's, when insane coked-out executives really thought a sci-fi action reboot of Looney Tunes was going to be the new hit with the kids. The entire thing is both completely uninspired and totally unique; cobbled together from other cartoons (primarily Looney Tunes (duh), Justice League, Teen Titans and Power Rangers) but from that creating something so weird conceptually it's own thing.

The plots and banter (SO MUCH BANTER) are pretty boilerplate, Ace's voice is incredibly annoying, Duck sounds like Sonic The Hedgehog (but not in a bad way) and everyone else is cartoon regulars. Not really a quality show, but worth preserving for the weird factor.

A Good Show That Deserves A Reboot

This is one of the show I heard of as a kid but never even watched before until few years ago. This show felt like this is a piece that is missing in my childhood so I really have to watch all of it.

After watching all the two seasons of Loonatics Unleashed the show is great but not perfect. The some characters design is just good, The art in the background areas are nice. But somehow the story and the episodes is rushed which mean that this show is just another cash grab for the teens to watch rather than treating the show like its making a masterpiece which is not.

The show was treated so poorly that Teen Titans Go and Animaniacs continued to mock this underrated gem.

However not everyone hated this show. Because mostly in Tumblr and including other sites are keeping the Loonatics Unleashed fandom alive. And I am proud to be one of the people part of the Loonatics Fandom.

One of the best things that hand carried the show is the relationship between Tech E. Coyote and Rev Runner. Their relationship deserves to be more than just friends and I love these two like a couple.

Love it or hate it. Loonatics Unleashed is one most underrated shows. And I am hoping that one day. This cartoon deserves to have its own brand new reboot.

What is wrong with America Animation?!

God, I am so sick of the crap that comes out of America called "Cartoons"!

Since anime became popular, the USA animators either produce a cartoon with a 5-year-old-lazy-ass style of drawing (Kappa Mikey) or some cheep Japanese animation rip-off. (Usually messing up classic characters) No wonder anime is beating American cartoons!

They are not even trying anymore!

Oh, I just heard of this last night; I live in the UK and when I found out this show first came out in 2005,well, I never knew the UK was so up-to-date with current shows.

I was a fan of the good old Looney Tunes and I was interested to see what they did with the franchise. I saw it and and was in shock how bad it's gotten. I pretty much didn't know what the hell whoever thought of this was on when s/he thought of it. It had very little references to the old stuff that made me smile for a little bit but it lost most of its impact when it is used on such a shoddy product. The only redeeming facts are that one the characters have most of the characteristics of their ancestors. The two that most are like their ancestors are the descendants of Daffy and Taz. The other good quality is that the voice acting is really good. Other than that, it's a piece a crap that the kids might in enjoy and make loyal fans of the Looney Tunes vomit with rage.

Very, very mixed feelings on this show....

I personally don't think Loonatics Unleashed is as bad as people say it is. However, I don't care for it much either. Apart from the odd ugly character design, the animation is decent. The Season 1 intro is also very cool, and the action does have excitement. The villains are not exactly imaginative, but they're okay, Black Velvet I am especially somewhat fond of. The voice cast are mixed, but of the cast Jason Marsden and Rob Paulson fare best. I didn't care for Charlie Schlatter though, he seemed bland to me. Also in Season 2, they changed the intro to a much less inspired one, completely lacking in the other one's coolness and further increasing my dislike of that sort of music. The writing has moments, but is mostly corny especially with Ace and annoying with the use of you're all heroes, my heroes, and the story lines are too predictable for me to be impressed or engaged with them. The derivative concept doesn't help. The characters are not bad, I like Danger and Rev, and Candi Milo does manage to give Zadavia(a character who I can like and dislike) some likability, but Ace is bland and annoys me with his attempts to be cool and they overall lack heart. Overall, my feelings on Loonatics Unleashed are mixed, not terrible, but I don't exactly rave about it either. 5/10 Bethany Cox

Not bad...but not good either

I'm gonna sound hypocritical because I liked watching the show when I was a kid, but looking back on it now, I think, what the hell did they do to the Looney Tunes?

Straight off the bat, you know something's wrong when they updated the character's designs. It's like the people who pitched the show thought, "You know, lets make the Bugs Bunny and his friends look bad-ass!" The colours and accents are sickly to look at, even at the best of times.

Secondly, the characters' personalities are far too close to that of their original predecessors, in particular Ace. Meanwhile, Lexi is basically a sexed-up version of Lola Bunny, like seriously?

Now the plot seems far too much like the lovechild of Looney Tunes and Power Rangers, in that they feature teenagers battling aliens and enemies. Now this isn't the first time that they put Looney Tunes in space; they did it with Space Jam and Duck Dodgers, but come on!

To round this off, I hope that the people over at Warner Bros never decide to make dark and gritty reboots of classic cartoons. What next, a gangsta version of Tom and Jerry? Scooby Doo with elements of the X-Files and True Blood?

Not Bad At All

Having grown up with the various incarnations of Looney Tunes and listened to my Dad Prattle on about how many times he has seen this episode or that episode since he was a kid it was really refreshing to see Loonatics Unleashed. Great animation, Justice League type story lines. Brilliant is all I can say. I hope this series runs for more than 1 season.

The other refreshing thing about this show is that the jury is still out as far as my dad is concerned. I finally get a show that I can enjoy without my Dad. The guy should grow up and stop watching cartoons for goodness sake. Well done Warner Bros.
