Hendricks started her film acting career as a regular in the series "Beggars and Choosers".

She then guest-starred in episodes of "Angel", "Miss Match", "Tru Calling", "Presidio Med", "Without a Trace", "Las Vegas", "South of Pico", "La Cucina" and "Life".
Hendricks also recently appeared in the action feature "Drive".

South Of Pico (2007) Snail’s Pace Productions/Image Entertainment Directed by Ernst Gossner Written by Ernst Gossner and Richard Marcus Starring: Kip Pardue, Gina Torres, Henry Simmons Score: Technical: 95, Story: 80, Acting: 90, Total: 88 I was quite surprised. I didn’t like “Crash” and I heard comparisons between this movie and “Crash”, but “South Of Pico” is clearly a superior film. Set in a 12-hour period where five lives deal with periods of uncertainty, quiet desperation, inner demons, and in the end intersect on a fateful street at a tragic event. Shot really well, the lighting, even indoors, is immediately reminiscent of an almost blisteringly-hot day in La, which seems to be the mood that’s being set here. It’s no “Do The Right Thing” [...]...

Charles Burnett's Namibia: The Struggle for Liberation was awarded the PAFF Vision Award at the 16th annual Pan African & Arts Festival, which ended Sunday.
The fest, which took place at the AMC Magic Johnson Crenshaw 15 Theaters in Los Angeles, gave its best documentary prize to Pierre-Yves Borgeaud's Return to Goree.
Bryon Hurt's Hip-Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes was named best short documentary, while Dee Rees' Pariah was best narrative short.
Clement Virgo's Poor Boy's Game was chosen best feature.
Ernst Gossner was named best director, first feature, for his film South of Pico.
Leon Lozano's Something is Killing Tate took the fest's Oscar Micheaux Award, as well as the audience award for favorite feature.
The favorite documentary was Ava DuVernay's This is the Life, and favorite short were Daniel Junge's docu Iron Ladies of Liberia and Deon H. Hayman's narrative short The Don of Virgil Jr. High.

Gina Torres and Kip Pardue are headlining South of Pico, which begins shooting this week in Los Angeles with Ernst Gossner, making his theatrical directorial debut. The tale of four ordinary people who witness an accidental death, the film also stars Paul Hipp, Henry Simmons, Jimmy Bennett and Soren Fulton. A Snails Pace production in association with Vent Productions, the project has been financed through private equity and the Tyrolean Film Fund; written by Gossner and Richard Marcus; and produced by Eric Presley, Gossner and Marcus, with Ralf Mosig as exec producer and David Lee as co-exec producer.
