Sin-é, the venue mentioned in the title, was an Irish rock café in New York's East Village. The name (pronounced "shin-AY") is a Gaelic phrase meaning "that's it". The performance segments were filmed live at Sin-é's original venue at St. Mark's Place, not its more recent location on Attorney Street.
The interview segments were recorded on 19 February 1994 at The Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This DVD was made available for purchase only in conjunction with the special "Legacy Edition" album, a full 2-CD upgrade of Buckley's original four-track audio EP (first released in 1994). The concert video content of the DVD, however, was recorded separately and was not commercially available until this package.
