Svenja Bruck is looking for a job. Anne wants Bastian to help her. When he asks his friend Hugo Egon Balder for a job he can actually offer her a job - as a cleaner.
Bastian is no soccer fan and points out this fact a bit too much in a live TV show. He makes fun about the Cologne soccer club 1. FC Köln and is not aware of causing a storm of protest from the fans.
Bastian and his colleague Michael Kessler receive at the same time a script for a new sitcom, written by famous Claus Vincon. Immediately a harsh battle to get the main role starts.
Just at the day last day and the party of a Cinema production with Comedy colleague Olliver Kalkofe, Bastian has to visit Anne's parents over the weekend. Its the first time Bastian will meet them.
Bastian sees "Bernd das Brot". He is not only seeing him in the Kids' show at night but also sees Bernd during the day sitting next to him and speaking to him.
Bastian is jealous of the success of his colleague Annette Frier. Her TV show "Danni Lowinski" gets high ratings and is also the favorite for the German Comedy Award.
A thunderstorm and the resulting blackout prevent Bastian from watching his favorite TV Show. When his neighbor Svenja Bruck asks him for candles he his annoyed at first but happy about some company in the end.
Since there were some robberies in the neighborhood recently, Volker Pastewka wants his sons to look after his house while he is on vacation at the Scharmützelsee.
For Bastian there hasn't been a reason to marry yet. But a tip of his tax adviser about financial advantages of a marriage makes him think about marrying Anne.
