Leyla is her name and Ferdi lost her because he served a 10 year jail sentence. Ferdi took the blame for his cousin's murder. Leyla got raped and had a baby by Ferdi's cousin wile he was locked up. She had to marry him. So after Ferdi gets out, he's still in love with Leyla but docent know were she is or what happened...... I recommend this classic. Old-school Turkish movies have a lot of passion. I think its beautiful love stories in these movies. Also check out the rest of Ferdi Tayfur movies, Orhan Gencebay movies and, İbrahim Tatlıses movies. They all have similar intensities but always different. They have to release these movies on DVD. Come on Turkey....Lets see these in a clear picture.
