A cute little film
Loving_Silence22 July 2010
Ramona and Beezus is a 2010 film adaptation based on the book Ramona Forever. Joey King plays Ramona and Selena Gomez plays Beezus. I thought the film was actually quite good and it didn't disappoint me at all. Now a lot of people are going out to see this film because Selena Gomez plays in it. But the real person whom truly shines in this film has to be Joey King. She steals the show from her co-stars and plays Ramona really vividly. This movie is a very fun family movie, and if you have a younger brother or sister, you'd connect right away. I hope IMDb users don't just give this film a 1, because its a children's movie and I hope they see it before they judge.

Ramona and Beezus is a small summer flick, that stands short, but proudly with Huge Summer Blockbusters. Highly recommended 8/10

"Ramona Will make You Fall In Love With Her"
ShahJahan5724 November 2010
First Of all this is my very first review so please don't mind anything. And yessss....... I standby my word.Ramona played by "JOEY KING" is definitely the "Sun" in this movie and the whole universe revolves around her. This girl is very imaginative and artistic who thinks that her family doesn't love her because she is different. But as in real life the movie goes on and she realizes that she really is "extraordinary".

Every little move that she makes is depicted beautifully in the movie. The Writers & director knew that anything that powerful needs character building and that's exactly what they did.Joey is full of acting genes, she is a natural talent & i have very high hopes for her.

So,the cast is superb too..........most of them are whom we know & love.Ramona has a big sister "Beezus" played by "Selena Gomez"(at-last a big sister who is not "mean").The part of the father is played by "John Corbett" whom we know from "United States Of Tara" & and the mother is lovely "Bridget Moynahan".Character of aunt bea is played by "Ginnifer Goodwin" and her boyfriend is "Josh Duhamel".All of them played their part nicely.

I am surprised that this movie hasn't got better ratings on IMDb............i don't know what's happening to people. But don't get put off by that & "Trust Me".Every moment of this movie is worth watching and most of all worth enjoying. So get your pop corns and chill a little...........you'll most definitely like it.

So peace until next time.

Surprisingly actually really good!
watersprinkls29 June 2014
It seemed like a too good to be true of a movie, I thought it wouldn't be as good as advertised. Mainly I wanted to watch it b/c Selena Gomez is in it, but I love it for reasons beyond her! I could also relate to her because she was closer to my age. It surprised me and got to my heart. It is definitely a feel good family type of movie. I really like the dynamic between Ramona and Beezus, and how we see them bond and their relationship develop & improve. If I see it on TV once in a while, I'm glad to watch it again. It also keeps pretty lightweight most of the time while dealing with struggles and problems. I recommend this!

Smart, wholesome, touching film for kids and parents
newboxcrayons8 August 2010
This movie, based on the books (already this will eliminate 90% of the movie-going audience) by Beverly Cleary, has no explosions, no talking dogs, no cutesy kids who sass their parents and display a maturity rivaling most 30 year olds nor a child with preternatural smarts who ends up preventing nuclear war etc. What it does have is a smart mom, a cool dad, a disaffected teenage sister, a baby, a cool auntie and some normal children. It's a story about a family who struggle with unemployment, job dissatisfaction, marital discord, self esteem, and bad sprinklers, as seen through the eyes of a nine year old girl whose idea of a bad word is "guts".

Still with me?

If you enjoy movies like Iron Giant and quality children's entertainment-you will LOVE this movie. Sadly, the people who complain the loudest about the film industry and the shallow values they encompass will probably miss this one-don't be among them. Take everybody. When I attended, everyone in the audience was clapping and crying at the end of the film , children and adults alike. Yes, it's a "little film"-meaning there are no blue aliens, no 3d stun shots, no cartoon characters passing off moral pablum as deep though. What it is a sweet story about real people. I wish there had been more people of color in the film, but I'll settle for some fantastic actors and a lovely message. See it and tell all your friends.

10, 12, & 45 year olds really liked it!
FourInTheFamily25 July 2010
Ramona and Beezus on the whole was a charming movie. Many kids I know (myself included) loved the Ramona books because she was active, she did things, and things happened because of her. Ramona in the movie had the dramatic flair I always associated with the Ramona of my imagination.

The movie was well cast and everyone seemed to fit their character well. That being said, it was a little wordy in places -- Ramona was a do-er not a big-conversation-er! Some of the superfluous talking should have been removed to add in more of Ramona's adventures and take on day to day life.

We loved that Ramona's idea of a really bad word was "guts"! As a parent I'm grateful that was the only "bad" word in the movie! I'm glad my kids saw it, I'm glad we saw it.

Feel Good Movie, something you would like have in your collection
raja-mishra724 August 2012
The books come home to Hollywood,

This movie may be one of those "ya I have seen that some time may be!" films, but it has its own little beautiful moments that helps it into the collection. A great one for teenagers and kids.

And yes, you want some quality family time on weekends go ahead with this movie.

A good "feel good" movie. With a smallish story, and a realistic world. With some Good old days' charm that enchants.

Acting overall was decent. Joey King as a matter of fact acted better than Selena Gomez, who had a considerably smaller role.

Finally it is such a movie that would not be judged on its plot or screen play and performance. It would be something you would just watch for fun.

A fantastic and warm story...
paul_haakonsen6 November 2010
Sitting down to watch this movie, I knew that I was in for some kind of children's movie, but "Ramona and Beezus" proved to be so much more than just that.

I am not familiar with the written work of Beverly Cleary that this movie is based on, so I cannot draw any comparisons or say what differs from the books and what is true to it, so I will not deal with this matter.

The story deals with multiple story lines and does so in a good way. Of course, you have the lead character, little Ramona Quimby (played by Joey King) who has a very colorful imagination and seem to always be in the spotlight for often not so good things. So the movie deals with her life and her view of the world, and it expresses this in a very good way. And that is of course very well helped along the way by a very charismatic, adorable and good acting Joey King.

Then there is the whole family aspect to the story, and that is one of the supporting foundations of the movie as well, and it gets around to deal with a number of elements in family life, and again does so in a good way. Carried by the excellent cast and the storyline in general. The roles of Ramona and Beezus' mom and dad were played by Bridget Moynahan and John Corbett. Again, two actors who put on very believable performances in the movie.

And of course there is a love story element to the story, well two of them actually, the love story between aunt Bea (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Hobart (Josh Duhamel), and the teenage love romance between Beezus (Selena Gomez) and Henry (Hutch Dano). Both of these love stories are nicely told also, and you do believe in them in the way they are portrayed. And again, all four actors/actresses here did a good job with their roles.

There are so many elements that play through the movie and they all work well together and come full circle throughout the movie in a very satisfying and wholesome way.

Do not, like I did, write this movie off as some sappy family movie for the kids, because it honestly is much more than just that. With hand on heart, I am glad that I sat down to watch this movie, because it is an uplifting experience for the spirit and the heart. This movie is intended as wholesome entertainment for the family and it delivers right on. I think this is the type of movie that will stay with you for a long time, because it just makes you feel happy and put you in a good mood.

I highly recommend this movie if you need a break from the stress of daily life and want to sit down and unwind with an uplifting story. This movie is suitable for children and adults alike, both male and female.

Oh, and the cat, Picky Picky, was so cute and adorable. And he looks quite a lot like my own cat! haha...

Thumbs way up for this heartwarming movie.

Surprisingly amazed
rfosterfosmo12 August 2012
Today i was pretty board so i was scrolling through the movie channels on my TV and i found this. I remembered the title as a book i read when i was little so i decided to just watch a little soon i was hooked. I'm a thirteen year old girl and i loved it. I cried i laughed it was really a extraordinary movie. I usually try to put on this too cool for school act, but i had to watch it. So if your a mom and you have a teen and a kid make them both watch it, please. They may act like they didn't like it but i don't see how you couldn't like this movie. I really liked the relationship between Ramona and Beezus Because i could relate to everything happening. I have to admit it was a little to perfect of a family at first but it got better the further it went on. I really suggest seeing this.

Utterly adorable, one of the best family flicks of the year, everyone will love it!
inkblot1127 October 2010
Ramona Quimby (Joey King) lives in a typical middle class neighborhood on the west coast. Her family consists of Father Robert (John Corbett), Mother Dorothy (Bridget Moynahan), big Sister Beatrice, er, Beezus (Selena Gomez) and a new baby sister. Also close to the Quimbys is their mother's sibling, Aunt Bea (Ginnifer Goodwin). Unlike Beezus, who is an excellent student and very mature for a budding teenager, Ramona struggles at school, especially with her no-nonsense teacher (Sandra Oh). The instructor doesn't have much patience with Ramona's penchant to coin new words, among other issues. Life at the house, also, takes a strange turn, when in the middle of home-remodeling project, Dad loses his job. Soon, Mom is working part time at her old job and Pop becomes the lunch packer and house-husband, while sending out a large amount of resumes. Aunt Bea's life, too, receives a curveball when old flame, Hobart (Josh Duhamel) moves back to his original home next to the Quimbys. Happily recovered from the long ago heartbreak of Hobart's abandonment, Bea is startled to find him lavishing attention on her once again. What's a girl to do? Beezus has love trouble, too, when a relationship with longtime pal, Henry Huggins, may turn into a romance. Ramona continues to weather storms, such as the day an egg breaks on her head, minutes ahead of the school pictures! But, biggest problem of all is the fact that they may have to move, if Dad doesn't find a job in town. What will the future bring for the Quimbys? This is very fine family flick, with plenty of humor and energy without any objectionable material. In fact, it is a shining example of how successful a movie can be without sex or bad language. Then, too, the actors do a great job, with King leading the way. What a wholesome and realistic young actress she is! Gomez, too, is a winning and lovely young thespian while Corbett, Moynahan, Oh, Goodwin, Duhamel and all of the others are lively, all-too-human and flat-out fun. The west coast setting is lovely, as are the costumes, script and all other film amenities while the direction is secure and confident. All in all, this film is one every family should have on hand, for repeated viewings, I predict, will never grow old.

Not just for young girls. Family fare.
michaelRokeefe30 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Elizabeth Allen directs this cute little movie about a precocious young grade schooler Ramona Quimby. Ramona a character in a popular children's series by Beverly Cleary. I really thought trailers pushed Selena Gomez as the star; but no...a cute Joey King plays the part of Ramona, who has one misadventure after another. Gomez is older sister Bezzus, who Ramona just can't seem to equal. Ramona's dad Robert(John Corbet)suffers being downsized out of a job. Mother Dorothy(Bridget Moynahan)goes to work and a worried Ramona takes it on herself to earn some money for her dad. A lemonade sale just ends up embarrassing her sister; washing the neighbor Hobart's(Josh Duhamel)jeep ends up practically ruining the vehicle's paint job. The Quimby home goes on the market and the open house ends up a fiasco. Hobart proposes to Romana's Aunt Bea(Ginnifer Goodwin)and the wedding doesn't exactly go unmarred...but Ramona manages to save the ceremony.

It is real nice to watch a movie you can relate to. The Quimby family is not perfect, but a work in progress. Ramona is a typical young girl. And its refreshing to have Ms. Gomez play a role that girl's her age can emulate. I personally was most impressed with the delightful Goodwin, fresh as a summer breeze. No foul language and a story that can be enjoyed by all ages. And I liked the use of the song "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles. You shouldn't be disappointed with this one.

Joey King's Chance To Shine
chicagopoetry1 November 2010
Ramona and Beezus. It's silly. It's harmless. It's a bit too long. And don't believe the weird people who post phony reviews here: it has nothing to do with liberals and there is absolutely no violence in it (Lord_Velvet_Muffin_Orifice, please get a life already). This sleeper is really just an excuse for Joey King to shine, to prove she can portray just about every emotion and look cute doing just about nothing. And it works. I didn't like the movie all that much but I am certainly sold on Joey King and will be watching out for her future achievements. Nothing really happens in Ramona and Beezus. It's just under two hours of so much cute you might not be able to stand it. But it's certainly not the worst movie in the world, and I bet your young daughter will think it is quite fantastical.

One of the best movies I have ever seen!
lrldec25 July 2010
This movie is thoroughly entertaining from beginning to end. I cried for a large portion of it, but not because it was bad, but so full of emotion! My reactions would not have been any different if this were in real life! Joey King is so sweet and Selena Gomez is a perfect depiction of someone her age! Girls cannot go wrong with her as a role model. This movie is extremely true to life, which is not a bad thing at all. It is nice once in awhile to see another family deal with some of the same situations we all do! The movie follows the book very closely and does a great job with it! A must see for everyone (it is not just for girls!)

Sweet movie
flyingamon30 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Although I am not really a fan of romantic comedies (most aren't really funny anyway to me) I do make an exception when there is kids in the leading roles. Kids have a wild imagination and that's why I thought this would be different from the mainstream romance and comedies. I wasn't wrong about that. Little Ramona wants to help out her family who are threatened to lose their house because her dad loses his job. This leads to funny but also sweet scenes where Ramona usually screws up although her intentions are often really good. I particularly liked the scenes where she took things literally and imagined those things in her head. Yes sometimes it is exaggerated and silly but I watched it for what it was, cute entertainment with a laugh and a tear. I didn't expect more or less of it and must say I really enjoyed it. I'm at loss why the movie title included Beezus (Ramona's sister) since I can't remember any scene where the movie focused solely on Beezus.

Cute, but basically a Made for TV movie
boogiebob28 November 2010
Cute enough, I have no particular complaints. But not much in the way of praise either.

Anyone who has seen all of the original episodes of the Ramona TV series (1988) will probably appreciate my perspective more than one who has not. The movie suffers by comparison, in my opinion.

The movie tried to incorporate something from each of the 10 TV episodes. In doing this, each incident was simplified too much. Fewer incidents with more development of each would have been far more interesting, as was the case with the TV program.

To me, Ramona and Beezus was like watching a Made for TV movie on a kid's cable channel. Eye candy for kids. When we watched the original TV show with our daughter it was fun for all of us. And, if memory serves, it captured the flavor of the books fairly well. Which I also recommend to those of you with children of suitable age.

I really loved it
dtucker8628 July 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed the Ramona books as a child and as an adult I really loved the movie based on them. Beverly Cleary is a real genius because her books have stood the test of time and the screenwriters for this film were smart enough to be faithful to them. Anybody with a pesty little sister can surely identify with Beezus. Joey King and Selena Gomez do a wonderful job bringing Beezus and Ramona to life. This is a good movie for children and the young at heart. The one scene that bothered me is the one where Ramona threw up in class, it brought back unpleasant memories because it happened to me once when I was a kid. Oh well, I also wanted to mention that the actor playing Ramona's loving and tolerant father did a great job as well. SPOILER ALERT I was really saddened when Ramona's cat died, I don't think that I have been that moved by a dumb animal's death since I saw Old Yeller.

My daughter loved it, but ...
sevenyearhawk24 July 2010
... this movie tries to cram a whole lot onto the screen.

We took our young daughter to see this movie today, she enjoyed it and now wants to read all of the Ramona books.

Her mom (a teacher) is very familiar with this series and said that there are elements from some of the various books.

I was less familiar, and it seemed to me that the movie wasn't quite sure what to do with itself. (I've since learned that there is also a stage adaptation)

The trailers make it seem like a kids' movie - which it is, but a subplot with the characters' aunt seems to dominate more of the movie that one would expect.

The actress playing Ramona is superb, and Selena Gomez does well with her limited amount of screen time.

Children and their parents alike will enjoy it, but while laughs are aplenty, there are quite a few "more serious" moments ...

Good for *older* kids
dmasursky25 July 2010
Warning: Spoilers
My entire family enjoyed the movie, but it's NOT for younger kids. My 6 year old daughter did not like it as much as the rest of us, mostly, I think, because there's a lot of mature contents, including a pet dying! I actually thought it would have been better if there had been a little more time spent on the lighter aspects, such as Ramona's imagination, playing at school and with her friend Howie, and other stuff like that. Instead there were a lot of scenes of people dealing with difficult problems, like a parent losing a job, and lots of scenes of people talking. Not that a family movie has to be nothing but fun, but this had a lot more serious moments than we expected, based on the way the film was promoted. We liked it and I would recommend it, but it's not totally light entertainment, and it may be a bit much for younger kids.

Refreshingly sentimental.
estreet-eva5 December 2011
Early on in ?Ramona and Beezus? you come across a character mostly unused in modern popular culture ? The Decent Father. Most recent father characters fall into one of four archetypes in the following order of frequency: (1) Incompetent Dad ? Homer Simpson and Peter Griffen have influence a generation of screenwriters to portray fathers as dithering man-children ? Clark Griswald comes immediately to mind, (2) Superfluous Dad ? writers throw in a dad who has few lines, shows little emotion and are played by indistinguishable journeyman actors - ?The Blind Side? is the best recent example, (3) Absent Dad ? the father character is played as negative space, his absence a major plot point ? ?Precious?? is the best recent example and (4) Angry Dad ? the father is either openly evil or secretly evil ? an older example is ?Say Anything.? The father/child relationship has been so degraded that the most honest relationship portrayal out there is Miley Cyrus and her real father Billy Ray on their Disney television show. So even though the film is overly long, often dull and lacks a compelling overarching plot driver (there is the subplot about whether the Quimby?s will lose their house but it is half-hearted), I am going to recommend it. The film deals with real relationships (the parents fight), real problems (a record number of people are facing foreclosure) and job loss (15.7million people are facing this in the U.S. as of this writing). Let?s hope the film is successful and we see more of this type of light family dramedy.

Charming. Sweet. Energetic. Love Selena Gomez. Not a great movie. Could have been worse.
Ryan_MYeah8 June 2011
Centering on a wildly imaginative young girl named Ramona (Played by Joey King), it tells a story of her and her family. Her father (Played by John Corbett), is having trouble finding work after his company downsizes and fires him, her sister nicknamed Beezus (Played convincingly by Selena Gomez) is often quite annoyed by her sister's antics, and she herself is an outsider to a world which sees her as overly odd, that and their house is about to be repossessed.

I'm actually happy that I turned out enjoying the film more than I thought I was going to. But even though it's not a bad movie, it still left me feeling there was more potential. The cast is charming, specifically that of Joey King and Selena Gomez as the title characters, but there are still some arcs and characters that are inconsistently handled. The script is very sweet, but I feel that any emotional resonance it was trying to reach wasn't always up to par. But it does offer some good laughs, touching moments, and there was plenty of redeeming factors for it to leave a good taste in my mouth.

Ramona and Beezus isn't great, but it could have been worse.

I give it **1/2 out of ****

After seeing the trailer I thought the film will be good and to be honest it really did not disappoint me at all. I decided to see this film because i am a fan of both Selena Gomez and Joey King and they both are playing in it. I thought it is movie with Selena as key role. But the actual person who truly steals the show is Joey King. JOEY KING gave an awesome performance as a very funny and extremely creative and imaginative kid girl. I really liked the idea of Ramona as "guts" a really bad word..hahhah... lolz! JOEY KING has an extraordinary performance. Selena looks more beautiful in this film. It is really a cute and funny story. It shows the family connections and love among the family members in an awesome manner. Strictly no SPOILERS in the film. COMEDY, ADVENTURE, FANTASY,SENTIMENT, ENTERTAINMENT… what not..!? Everything is in the movie… Not only kids, everybody of any age would like this movie… I loved it..! I am 20 and i like to watch it again...

Fun for Kids and Adults!
Sylviastel17 April 2011
This movie was adapted from Beverly Cleary's novels about Ramona Quimby and Beezus Quimby. This film is fine fare for parents and young children. The actress, Joey King, who plays Ramona does a fabulous and believable job. Selena Gomez plays her big sister, Beatrice better known as Beezus does a good job as well. The cast is first rate for a children's movie. Anyway, I would have loved to have seen Beverly Cleary in a cameo if possible. Sandra Oh does a good job in playing Ramona's teacher. John Corbett and Bridget Monahan play parents to Ramona. Ginnifer Goodwin plays beloved Aunt Beatrice. The story has it's moments at times but the film is overall enjoyable and ideal for family viewing. The film itself could use some improvement in writing but it's well done and I hope you enjoy it.

Jeepers and Creepers.
anaconda-4065811 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Ramona and Beezus (2010): Dir: Elizabeth Mitchell / Cast: Joey King, Selena Gomez, John Corbett, Bridget Moynahan, Ginnifer Goodwin: Extremely low budget family farce that bares little to the two sisters. The film is more about Ramona and her dealing with her father's job loss and the possibility of losing her home. Directed by Elizabeth Mitchell with cheap animated sequences that don't fly. I've seen better production in kindergarten art classes. Joey King is wonderful as Ramona, an elementary school student who attempts to help save her home but constantly messes up. She has charm and wit stealing every scene she is in. In that less central role in the title Selena Gomez plays sister Beezus who discovers romance resulting in predictable elements. It is a good role but the movie isn't about her nor the relationship with Ramona. She is the market item to sell the movie. John Corbett plays the father with a hidden talent amongst his optimism. Bridget Moynahan as their mother is underused. She is basically there when convenient playing the loving busy mom baring no personality. Ginnifer Goodwin is cast as an aunt in a role that is not likely to be a highlight in her budding career. Aimed at young girls who likely listen to Gomez and to that audience it may appeal but to adults it is a complete waste of time. It is very predictable and done on the cheap but its limited target audience may not care. It teaches children that being small can accomplish great things but unfortunately the story, being small and simple accomplishes absolutely nothing of any great importance. Score: 4 ½ / 10

R&B was delight to watch.
bronxbertha24 July 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I went to see it twice at two different theaters and one thing I noticed was that all the kids watching the movie actually watched it. Large numbers of kids in each theater and it was quiet until there was a time for a gasp or a laugh. The parents that I talked to after each movie had nothing but good things to say and the general consensus was that they were happy to see such a feel good family friendly movie making it to theaters.

Why can't Hollywood realize that the desensitizing of the masses has gone on long enough. I realize it's all about the money and not the craft anymore but movies like this one restore my faith. Elizabeth Allen really did pull the characters out of everyone's performances.

Ramona played by Joey King was exactly like I envisioned her when I read these books. Daydreaming her way through life but with such a big heart. Very surprised with the versatility of Selena Gomez. Definitely more than just a Disney princess. The interaction between Ramona and Beezus was angry, happy, sad, compassionate but most of all love. Josh Duhamel was dreamy and I saw a side of him I didn't think existed. Ginnifer played such a fun and sweet middle sister aunt. I really liked the little interactions with her and Ramona. John and Bridget were perfect as Mom and dad. They were like real parents dealing with real issues. I honestly had tears of joy and sadness, I laughed, but was always watching the screen. I really hope this movie does well and warrants more like it to be made. Sorry for lack the of punctuation but this is the internet and not school :) I totally recommend this to anyone who has a heart and wants to just see a feel good fun movie.

Not a bad film but its kinda similar
lisafordeay2 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
So I saw this twice already on DVD and surprisingly it wasn't a bad film but not the best film ever I seen. This charming movie tells the story (that's based on a novel on the same name)about a young girl named Ramona(played by Joey King)who isn't like many little girls;she has a vivid imagination that can sometimes or should I say ALL the TIME in trouble. She lives with her mother and her artistic father (both played by Blue Blood's Michelle Monayahan and Raising Helen's John Colbert)and her older sister Beezus(played by Selena Gomez) who always teases her over the monsters that come crawling under her bed every night when their house gets demolished by the builders and they have to move out.

Meanwhile Ramona plays matchmaker with Walk The Line's Ginnifer Goodwin who's crush Hobert(played by that cute guy from Life as we know it Josh Duhmel)who broke up with Goodwin's charcther along time ago and realized that he made a stupid mistake and he had a hidden box with special possessions inside.

Bottom line it kinda reminds me of Matilda you know that 1997 movie that had Mara Wilson and Danny De Vito and Matilda was a vivid imaginative child JUST LIKE RAMONA??

The story is nice but its a tad bit silly, the acting to its credit isn't all bad,but don't go and expect a masterpiece when watching this movie as its strictly for much younger kids.

Selena Gomez was eh Selena Gomez I mean seriously WHY does she ALWAYS be herself in almost EVERY godforsaken MOVIE!?!? she's almost playing the I don't give a crap, fetch my agent crap ALL THE TIME.Joey King was actually not a bad little child actress, and the rest of the movie is OK I guess.

So would I have this movie in my top 10 or 20... the answer is.....NO... BUT it is at No#60 on my list.

Not a bad film but its strictly aimed at kids and not for 22 year old girls like me.

RAMONA AND BEEZUS – CATCH IT (B-) Ramona and Beezus is a complete family movie, though I was looking for some solid story as it's made from Children famous book but since it was children book so the story was strictly for children mind too. I think Joey King's pleasant performance makes movie really enjoyable and adorable. She is really cute and shows a good potential as an actress. Selena Gomez didn't have much scoop so still she did her part very well and it was good to see her besides her Wizard's Avatar. Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Duhamel scenes were really amusing and it was funny that few years back Josh Duhamel was playing Mr. Ted Hamilton "Hunky Hunk" with whom Kate Bosworth Wins a date on movie "Win a Date with Ted Hamilton" and Ginnifer Goodwin was playing a fat weirdo friend of Kate's in it and now she is all smooching with josh Duhamel. Great! It shows Ginnifer Goodwin has come long way and hope she gets more good parts in future. Josh Duhamel, Well he is HOT as Always. John Corbett and Bridget Moynahan were good. I still didn't got how Bridget Moynahan fell off the Map, she use to look Hot with Colin Farrell's The Recruit and Will Smith's I'Robot but now she does all Off beat indie roles. Sandra O is lovable as always. Hutch Dano is cute. Overall a time pass movie which can be enjoyed with family but keep in mind it's strictly for children.
