Awesome game super Nintendo classic

One of the best games on the super Nintendo entertainment system.

This game revolves around boxing (obviously)

There are a number of different fighters from different backgrounds and countries to make your way through starting with the old school old man "gabbey jay" 'eeaah', working your way up through different styles of fighters "bob charley"(bob marley copy) a Bruce lee and mike Tyson copy also "nick and rick bruiser". mastering the knockout super punches is essential, this game provides hours of fun on your own and with friends around to play it with.

If you see it and have a super Nintendo/famacom do yourself a favor buy it!!!!

This game is near perfect! It's easy, for example the controls and the first few fighters. But the game knows how to be very very hard. I dont want to spoil anything for anyone, but i prefer you check this greatness out!

Lacks Whatever Spark Its Predecessor Had

I consider the original "Punch-Out!" for the NES to be one of the single greatest video games of all-time. So, perhaps it was inevitable that this game never really sucked me in quite as much.

"Super Punch-Out!" is a pretty fun game in its own right. As Little Mac, you get to battle against some new and some familiar foes. They each get harder to beat and have some of the odd characteristics that fans of the series are used to seeing.

What is telling for me, though, is that I have never actually beaten this game. It isn't because of extreme difficulty (it would take some practice, but I know I could do it if I put in the effort), but rather that it doesn't really inspire me to finish. Whereas I spent hours honing my skills at the original, I've never felt that this "Super" version was worth the effort.

Maybe I'm being a bit unfair considering my "undying love" for the original, but "Super Punch- Out!" has never risen above mediocrity for me. 3.5 stars would be a more exact rating. It is fun the first couple of times I play it, but when it gets to the point of really having to put the work in, I always find myself moving on to other games.
