- TriviaThis episode marked the first credited appearance of The Frankie Ortega Trio, who recurred through the first five seasons as the house band at Dino's Lodge. Amusingly, this is also the first time they bent the fourth wall by playing the show's theme song on camera.

[Series theme song; short version played during opening credits; performed by The Frankie Ortega Trio at the party on Velasquez's ship; full vocal version performed during closing credits]

A Nice Social Evening
Federico Velasquez (Ray Danton) is the last of rich latino playboys. A 24 hour party animal. He is also from a family of an oil tycoon from a Latin American country that is close with the USA.
Stuart Bailey and his team are hired to provide discrete protection to Velasquez by the US government. They have an inkling that his life might be in danger for his pro American stance.
Only Bailey and others have a hard time keeping up with Velasquez's party lifestyle.
At a super party in a superyacht. There is a credible threat on an attempt on his life. Bailey needs to find out what it is and who is the culprit.
Getting in the way are a couple of goons hired by Velasquez's people to also keep an eye on him.
One member of the yacht crew who suddenly wants to get off the boat. Might signify that something is about to go boom.
Surprising how many American teleplays had a member of a crew who planted a bomb on the boat. Then wanting to escape quickly.
So not entirely original. Although the cast seemed to be having fun, all those party scenes were just filler.
