Superb little comedy score
searchanddestroy-111 November 2015
Warning: Spoilers
One of our detective lead is here a talent scout in search of a character for Hollywood. And this rare person is no one else than a little dog whose the mistress is a shoplifter grandma, an old woman who can't prevent herself to steal anything within hand reach.

So, you won't be surprised that this story is entirely made upon the comedy touch, not noir at all. And the director for this is David Butler, a Hollywood vet who began his career in the silent era, and made hundreds of comedies and musicals. So, don't expect any noir stuff from him. Although he gave us a M SQUAD episode, which had nothing to do with comedy. And, in this episode, don't expect a sort of Ma Barker type character, even if some elements may lead you in this scheme.

Back to this episode, the pace is to tightly held, with the grandma become bank robber, that you are literally glued to your seat. I ordinarily hate comedies but this one is worth watching. Believe me.
