This episode deals with drinking alcohol and bars. We learn that a Bar is a place where bad people hang out. Simon Camden learns a lesson about high school parties. Apparently when parents aren't home, kids drink beer in the backyard. We also learn that you can mix alcohol in a punch bowl and people will drink it without noticing it's spiked. Simon comes home drunk. His brother and sisters try to sober him up so mom and dad don't find out. Simon gets busted when his new "COOL and POPULAR" friend rats him out. In the end, Ruthie (The 11 year old) has more wisdom than the rest of the family. She gives us (and Simon) a lecture on being a role model.

In '7th Heaven' world there is no grey area - drinking is bad. Full stop.
However, if you've stuck with the show until Series 6 you're probably well versed in the strict moral code it preaches and the heavy-handed messages it is prone to dishing out.
However, it should be said that this is a very good episode of the show, and easily one of the best from the 6th series.
'7th Heaven' doesn't by this point produce quality episode after quality episode, it just doesn't seem to be able to, so this farcical outing that sees all the Camden kids working together is a joy.
