When even the Creator/Exec Producer can't get a tune out of their own creation you know you're in trouble.
But that's what happens to Brenda Hampton here, as we have another middling/poor episode of this show.
Unfortunately she falls into two of the traps that have caused this show so many problems of late - the sheer annoyingness of Lucy and the fact that there's too many non Camden's trying to plug the gap caused by the departures of Matt and Mary. In fact she goes a step further - adding yet another waif and stray into the mix.
There's attempts to hark back to the 'glory' days of the show, but while I have given this series some slack while it adapts to life after Matt/Mary, the fact of the matter is that 7 episodes in to S7 there's only been 1 decent episode.
