Warning: Spoilers
This series is fine, but the delivery of this episode is mind-numbing at first. It was difficult to endure for a while. The writers use pictures, lists, and narration to give the viewer a review of the family history as perceived by Simon. Some of the associations are clever, but it reminds the viewer about how much of an overdramatic soap opera the series could be. It was a good way for the producers to save money on acting too, as it combined a novel idea of delivery to present clippings of earlier shows. It ends on a good note, so if you can get through the first half of the episode, you should be all right in my opinion.

The History of the Camden Family
catnipper4012 March 2018
For all of the viewers who have watched this series repeatedly and those who are seeing it all for the first time, this episode is a review of the previous 7 seasons of this wonderful series.

Simon, as the description states, is headed for college which is the reason for this episode. If you have not seen the family from beginning to end and you want to jump into the show at this point, DON'T miss this particular episode; it is excellent.

I have always had a special place in my heart for "Simon Camden". He can make me laugh, cry, think and smile at everything he does. In the past couple of seasons he has really grown up and I've always felt like he was my son from the start. (Attention readers and cast: No I am not stalking him; I'm just a big fan.) I want to thank the cast, crew and their families for making this series possible. The children in front of the camera gave me the best of their growing up years for my entertainment and I will always be grateful.
