The characters at the orphanage all know Face by the name Templeton Peck, however the episode "Mind Games" established that he didn't change his name to Templeton Peck until later in life. Those who knew him as a child or teenager would more likely have known him by his original name, which that previous episode established was Alvin Brenner.
