I've been watching the first season (1993-1994) of "Acapulco H.E.A.T" lately, in chronological order, and so far "Easy Riders" is my favorite episode. Not so much for the action (there is not much) or for the story, as for the two guest characters played by Carole Davis and Ana Alicia. As a criminal prosecutor and a doctor who are after the same target (a baby-snatching-and-selling ring) as H.E.A.T, so they eventually join forces with the team after a rocky start, they are both beautiful, brave, playful, ace bikers, successful professionals, able to think and act for themselves, able to defend themselves physically and verbally. In other words, they're pretty much exactly how MORE female (film and TV) characters should be like, especially in the action genre. Don't get me wrong, I like the main cast well enough, but it's a damn shame they never re-appeared in the series. Couldn't one of them have taken Fabio's spot, he's never around anyway! **1/2 out of 4.
