A Common Theme
Hitchcoc30 December 2019
There have been many films and TV shows based on the theme presented here. It turns out that Floyd, in his busybody way, can have quite an effect on people. Here it is Goober who succumbs.

An all-time favorite episode

Andy is supposed to give Goober 2 hrs daily of deep massage for possibly 6 weeks. Also, as a bonus he's kicked out of his room. Why didn't Bee offer her room to Goober and she could sleep on the cot? Dr Bennett (George Selk) is the classic dry plug-in character actor. He makes a very believable doctor. All segments are very funny. The pretty over apologetic driver (Suzanne Taylor) offers Goober her insurance card and he thinks she's selling insurance. Great Floyd gloom & doom with the wonderfully funny "raise your arms" bit. Bee & Opie are funny during the frozen Goober "lean on me" bit. We see Andy wasn't a good football receiver as a kid. Lots of the color episodes theme is imposing on Andy. It's working really well a high % of the time.
