Standard good episode with Baretta as a kid protector...
Good beginning where a little girl is the witness of a store robbery, where the owner - a blind man - is stabbed to death. And Baretta, wearing a white jacket, investigates. Not many clues for our lead. And he is also in the position to become a baby sitter for the young twelve years girl. He brings her home, because the poor kid has no more place to go, no family, nothing. The two murderer hoods are one white and one black. It's usually two cops, in crime films or series, not hoodlums. This kind of scheme is more than predictable in a Baretta episode, but touching, thanks to the kid presence, with Baretta's pet and girlfriend, the gorgeous Meg - fantastic eyes - Foster. You of course may think of a sort of Ted Tetzlaff's THE WINDOW scheme, where a boy witnessed a crime committed by a couple. i am always amused by the Baretta's informer, the black pimp in his ridiculous pink costume.
I summary, a good but so foreseeable Baretta story.
