The ancient kingdom of Macedonia existed from 808 BC to 148 BC. A flightless bird called the dodo was native to the island of Mauritius, but it went extinct in 1662. There are no reports of dodos, or even their fossils being found in Macedonia, so of course, the Macedonian dodo is a fictitious bird with a comical name, playing on the notion of Endora being even more ancient than Macedon.
Longest appearance for Agnes Moorehead (Endora) in a single episode from the beginning of the show till this one.
The house behind Mrs. Kravitz during the roof scene is the house on I Dream of Jeannie (1965) and Father Knows Best (1954).
The costume for the Macedonia dodo bird is also used in an episode of Lost in Space (1965) - Forbidden World (1966).
When Aunt Clara turns the street outside the Stephens home into a harbor, Samantha twitches her nose and changes things back the way they were, despite the fact that it is a long-established rule on Bewitched (1964) that a witch cannot undo the magic of another witch.
Correction: It is also established that a witch can undo the magic of another witch if she knows the spell the first witch used.
