- Tait and Young go in pursuit of a gang of teenage girls who have been shoplifting. When they become separated, Tait is cornered by the gang, who subsequently strip him and spray a suspicious substance in his face. Tait arrives back at the yard half dressed, much to the happiness of his female colleagues. Meanwhile, Carver finds a copy of Kent's birth certificate, and struggles over whether or not to inform Ackland. Murphy is devastated to discover an operation has been mounted to catch Taviner at their daughter's funeral, and believing Taviner's right to see his daughter, tries to inform him of the operation before he is arrested. When Ackland offers her a shoulder to cry on, she rebuffs her.
- Good looking young P C Cameron Tait (Daniel MacPherson) and his colleague PC Kerry Young (Beth Cordingly) go in pursuit of a gang of teenage girls who have been shoplifting, but become seperated.Cameron captures one of the girls, but her friends then arrive and turn the tables on the policeman, knocking off his cap, pinching his bottom and spraying a substance in his face before pouncing on him.
When Kerry catches up with her colleague he is shown only from the waist up and admits that his radio has been stolen.
The unfortunate policeman drives his patrol car back into Sun Hill's car park and gets out wearing only his uniform shirt, pullover and black boxer shorts, with shoes and socks. Although it is not stated by anyone, it is apparent that Cameron has been robbed of his trousers by the girls.
