Crane gets involved in a case where a groom leaves the bride at the altar. She is seeking damages because of the timing. This case involves Denny vs. Danny in one-upmanship. The other case takes to task a policeman who brutally beat a man to get information which ultimately led to the apprehension of a kidnapper and the recovery of a little boy. It was a good case which could have gone either way. Schmidt forces Alan to close the case and he does, grudgingly.
