Three cases just works
jwb00123 January 2016
In a user review for the CSI: NY episode "Tri-Borough" (S1 Ep11), I wrote:

"There should DEFINITELY be a law against covering three cases in a single episode of 'CSI: NY'. Seriously. As the episode jumped between cases, I had a difficult time keeping track of which case the characters were discussing."

Well, this "Tanglewood" episode includes three cases, and I only needed to ask my wife once, "Which case is this?". Covering three cases works here because two of the cases are connected. In general, though, I wish CSI: NY would stick to two cases per episode.

On another note, my wife recognized one actor in this episode as a major criminal from the series "NCIS". We checked on IMDb; she was right.

Aiden

This is the first episode where Aiden doesn't look super angry, bored, or sleepy the entire time. She, also, seems to be contributing more. She's my least favorite character followed by Stella. At least in this episode stella is covered up. I'm tired of seeing her bra.

Another cat walk detective
kris-gray6 January 2022
I could only face half of this episode, I'd never watched this series before and stumbled on it whilst channel hoping. I will avoid it at all costs in the future.

What with wooden acting, even Gary Sinise was poor and I normally like what he does, still he doesn't write the scripts with cliched phrases like 'You're going to sing-sing' seriously?

And don't get me started on the cat/street walker detectives with trout lips, the last time I saw lips like that they had a hook in them. Sorry but are we supposed to talk her seriously? Women like that don't become detectives, at least none of the ones I've met do. Only in La La Land it would seem.

Terrible, just terrible.
