In Tears...

With laughter watching this episode. There is so much right about this episode, that to list what made it so remarkable is beyond my ability. The face mugging, the slapstick, the Yiddish humor! This episode aired on Decades network TV recently. Upon looking into this specific episode I read it is the very last episode made of this program.

A Great Ending Show For A Great TV Series
ccthemovieman-119 January 2012
Jack Gilford is good in here as the "Jonah" or "jinx," a guy who brings nothing but bad luck wherever he goes. He's been assigned to numerous precincts and each one has suffered a ton of injuries to their officers. Through some chance of fate, he winds up at the 53rd, which is desperate for men.....any officer.

Word gets out who there new guy is, however, and that's not good. One disaster follows another and Toody and Muldoon have to figure a way to get this "jinx" off this guy.

There are some funny lines and good slapstick moments in here. Gilford was a great comedic actor and a fitting one to help end this wonderful two-year series that ran about 50 years ago.
