Getting Richard married between Series 2 and 3 was a massive gamble, and having only watched this show via DVD at this point I don't know whether it's going to pay off.
This episode is decent enough, with Caroline trying to help his marriage while harbouring her own feelings for him, but I don't know where the writers are going with this story/the show, as it feels like they've backed themselves into a corner.
Annie being out of work creates some interesting new possibilities, as does Charlie and Del being partners in the company, but it's a time of change for the show, and I hope it settles down.
