According to writer Edward J. Lakso, when Kelly volunteers that "I can dance and Kris is a singer" and the camera cuts from her to Kris and Tiffany, the two of them were only supposed to sit there. Instead, Shelley Hack adlibbed "I play the violin... when it's not in the repair shop," a callback to her cover as a violinist in Angels at the Altar (1979). Cheryl Ladd does a double-take and laughs.
Repeat wardrobe for Kelly: about 14 minutes in---sitting on the couch at the Townsend Agency---underneath a black blazer, Kelly is seen wearing a conservative mauve blouse with monochrome textured stripes and a white lace collar. That blouse would resurface 7 episodes later, in Angel's Child (1980), when she trots up the court steps to meet the detective who abuses his son. That blouse had also been worn by Kelly in a very dark brown---also in at least 2 other episodes. (See: The Prince and the Angel.) Reportedly, the production wasn't too happy with the very high Nolan Miller wardrobe budget; the angels were said to change clothes roughly 8 times per episode and, as seen here, they tried to save some money and make good use of previously worn outfits, as regular women do in real life.
Repeat wardrobe for Kelly part II: Not only is Jaclyn wearing the same mauve blouse with white lace collar, she is strangely wearing it over the same exact, ill-matched, black blazer with red piping around the lapels, cuffs and pockets, which she will also wear over the very same blouse, 2 months later, in Angel's Child (1980).
Nancy Fox (Sunny) previously appeared as a different character in season two's Angels in the Backfield (1978), and later in season four's One Love... Two Angels: Part I (1980) and One Love... Two Angels: Part II (1980), and season five's Chorus Line Angels (1981).
