Are They Warlocks?
claudio_carvalho8 February 2007
In a museum in San Francisco, the young Eric Bragg discloses the code in an ancient board found in the Iraq desert to find the Akashic Records, where the ultimate knowledge including the capability to see the future is recorded. He goes to the local hospital to tell his father, who is coma for several weeks. Coincidently Phoebe is working as a volunteer in the hospital and she has a premonition with a demon sucking Eric's brain with his finger. Meanwhile, Prue and Piper suspect that Jack Sheridan and Dan Gordon are warlocks and they cast a spell that makes them capable of hearing other people's minds. Phoebe discloses that the demons that are chasing Eric are called Collectors and the Halliwell sisters decide to protect Eric to avoid that the demons get the powerful knowledge and jeopardize mankind.

"They're Everywhere" is funny, regarding the ability of Prue and Piper of listening to others people's minds and the resolution of the show is very reasonable. However, Eric should never have the right of destroying the ancient relic in the museum without any further consequence. Who is he to decide what is good or bad for the mankind? This part of the episode shows a total lack of respect with culture and is simply ridiculous and offensive. My vote is seven.

The One With The Guys Who Have Needle Fingers...
taylorkingston7 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoy this episode. It's not my favorite episode from the series, or even from the season, but it's really worth a watch and I do have a good time watching it.

In this episode, Phoebe is volunteering at a hospital, where someone needs her help, like they always do. Someone is in trouble because some demons are trying to gain access to records that will tell them everything that has happened and will ever happen. Those are some pretty powerful documents. Also, the demons have needle fingers that suck peoples memories and everything they are, away. Hence my title for this review. Meanwhile, Prue thinks that Jack is a warlock and Kit hissed at Dan, so Piper is thinking the same thing. So they cast a spell to be able to read people's thoughts, to find out. Then Phoebe tells them that they can just prick their fingers, and if they don't bleed, they're warlocks. In the end, they aren't demons. Jack is just hiding a twin brother and Kit hissed at a hornets nest, not Dan.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10.

They're everywhere

Warning: Spoilers
Eric is studying the plastic records when he uncovers the secrets with in and now is being hunted by warlock only known as the collectors who will do anything to gain unlimited knowledge. Its a great season 2 episode showcasing very scary warlock with needles for fingers that can erase memories and keep his father held hostage. It was cool to show natural artifacts holding magical properties, which they should've kept doing, to show how modern times can fit in with ancient battles between good and evil.

Misha Collins was a delight and I wished they kept him on in a relationship with Phoebe, because they work so well together. You can feel the fresh fun they have while frozen, Phoebe tackles him to the floor, to share an awkward laugh. Very cute couple that could've raveled Leo and Piper since we've never seen a witch attempt to date a human without dying and trying to keep him alive while he learns about this dangerous world.

Castiel looks so young!!

Warning: Spoilers
What a nice surprise to see Misha Collins. This is my 4th time rewatching Charmed and,how did I never recognise Misha Collins before,as I am a huge Supernatural fan I was kicking myself for not seeing it before! Although admittedly he was a youthful 25 year old with blonde hair. But this time around I could see a very young Castiel, from his gestures to his vocal & facial expressions, really showing how he'd be in his unforgettable and, future role as Castiel. Brilliant line for me was when he asked Phoebe if she was an Angel. Little did HE know...It's a shame he wasn't cast as Pheebs future boyfriend.

Brain Drain the Prequel
seneuser11 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I haven't rated a Charmed episode as low as 6 since The Wedding (Episode) from Hell, but I find little of interest here, especially after the drama of Old Black Magic that actually moved the overall storyline forward. This episode will do nothing other than prove what we already know - Jack and Dan aren't demons or warlocks.

I do find it funny that Piper and Prue, frightened by coincidental events, went through the trouble of casting a spell to find that out, to comical results, of course, only to have Phoebe show off her magical wisdom by just pointing out that any sign of blood would prove the men are human.

This is another Phoebe-centric episode and another guest star that has good chemistry with her. Eric becomes the innocent Phoebe is determined to protect when two warlocks pursue him for knowledge that no one wants them to have. These warlocks can literally suck knowledge from people's minds, as well as sucking life. Their tandem blinking does lead to a fairly good action scene against the sisters in the nursing home. In the end, they dispose of each other, which we've seen before.

Two future TV stars join the cast, for one episode...
m-4782622 March 2021
After two more or less watchable fillers, the show finally gives us something good. Like a mini « Lost Arc » with witches and warlocks. TV fans recognized future stars, with one in particular. Talked about a lot in this page. Rewatching this episode reminded me of how fun pre-Riverdale Lochlyn Munro was, no matter how writers wanted me to dislike his character. I thought he was alright. And even though the Piper/Leo feud was a little random, I understand what she sees in Dan. Have the sisters cast a spell to hear thoughts, was a nice comedic touch. And parallels between the innocent's life and them, a good reminder of previous plot. It's a reasonably good filler episode, you can watch out of order as well. For having barely no big relevance with the overall season's arc.
