After a battle, Saunders and his three-man squad bring three German prisoners to their outpost where there is a POW camp. However the allied forces have been attacked and retreated and the wounded Major orders Saunders to take the German POWs to the American headquarter since the Intelligence would be interested in them. They find a truck still working and after a headcount, they realize that there are eighteen prisoners and only five American soldiers to control them. Along their journey, there are escape attempt, uprising and many difficulties to control the German prisoners.
"Headcount" is a great episode of "Combat!", with a tense story of transportation of a great number of POWs by an outnumber of American soldiers. Sgt. Saunders again shows his leadership and experience when dominated by the German leader and the episode has a good conclusion and surprising. My vote is eight.
Title (Brazil): "Contagem" ("Headcount")
