Lovelines was fun and entertaining. Catch 22 had great moments like Joey and the professor's talk, Pacey's meltdown and Eddie's letter. But Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road was the show back to meaningful writing, honest acting and lifelike drama. Everything I love about this show, that sadly got lost along the way. What can I say, there isn't one part about this episode I don't like. Even Jack Osbourne's scenes don't make me cringe like they did previously. The Dawson, Joey, Pacey triangle was back in a different way. Pacey and Audrey finally mend fences and even though I'm disappointed the actress who played Jen's mother in season 3, isn't back. Mimi Rogers does a great job filling her shoes. CJ's uncle outburst was hilarious and sweet. And Jen and Grams asking Jack to come to NYC with them, was my favorite part. The replacement songs didn't sound too bad lately, but that uptempo tune when Joey and Pacey talk by the dock, give the scene a whole different feel. Audrey's acoustic performance, as way of closing this chapter, was perfect.
