A memorable episode
ramirez_aj18 December 2022
One of the few I remember from my childhood. The odd choice of artstyle (both the literal art and narration) for the first segment, Dexter and Computress get Mandark works great. Especially considering I am rewatching nearly 20 years later at a much different stage in my life. I believe its such a unique choice, and I appreciate the narrator knows each characters fine tunes and it shows. The second segment is also a nice entertaining bit that ultimately has a great message. VISIT the Dentist. Incredible voice acting in ever scene. Wether it is for assumed comedic purposes in the first segment or if it is Major Glory from the Justice friends segment.

Dexter vs. Santa
manza_joe26 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is really not one of Dexter's prouder moments. He pursues Santa Claus and his reindeer thinking they're really his parents. But when he sees his dad behind him after shaving Santa's beard, he realizes (too late) that the jolly man is real. He also shot down Santa's sleigh, thinking it was the family car, and destroys the living room as a result. I think after seeing the sleigh fly off the roof, Dexter should've started to doubt the plausibility of his theory. For one thing, how could his dad have been Kris Kringle? He's too thin, and his glasses, which he possibly can't see without, would have been a dead giveaway. Also, the car must weigh at least 4 or 5 tons, so it would most likely crash through the roof. I dunno what becomes of Dexter after this, but I'll bet he got coal for Christmas the next day. That, or he probably spent Christmas Day wondering where he went wrong.

One of the stranger episodes...
joncwriter29 January 2006
"Dexter and Computress Get Mandark" is one of the stranger episodes of Dexter's Lab, in which the entire episode is narrated by a five year old boy (Tyler Samuel Lee) and animated in the style of a kid's crayon drawings. If I remember correctly the story revolves around a typical battle of wills and genius (or lack thereof) between Dexter and Mandark, and in true kid's improv form, it's narrated by way of "...and Dexter says..." or "...and Mandark says..." The plot goes out the window and things get sillier and sillier, somehow ending with Mandark's head expanding so much it explodes. There are many recurring jokes, including Dexter's great "You are stooopid, and another thing, you are stooopid, and don't forget, you are stoooopid!", Mandark's trademark "ha ha-ha! ha ha-ha!" laugh, and my favorite, "And Dexter says..." (with nothing following, leaving Dexter looking confused) that make this quirky episode memorable. As said, the episode doesn't really make too much sense, but it's hilarious nonetheless. Well worth looking for if you can find it.

The other two are alright, But Dexter Vs Santa Claws is Horrendous
rebeccaajclarke5 November 2022
Dexter and Computress Get Mandark and The Justice Friends in Pain In The Mouth are alright episodes at their best, But Dexter Vs Santa Claws is very Horrendous, Because of the horrible characterisation of Dexter, horrendous story writing, cringeworthy rap song, animal cruelty, wrecking Christmas and teaching very bad moral about Christmas is about presents, But that's not true, Christmas is not just about presents, it's also about Kindness, Good-Willed, Respectful and Caring towards Family and Friends, If you are looking for a good Christmas Special, Please recommend Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends in Thomas' Christmas Party (1984), Fireman Sam in Snow Business (1988), The Sooty Show in Sooty's Christmas Party (1988), Paddington Bear in The Ghost Of Christmas Paddington (1989), The Simpsons in Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire (1989), TUGS in Bigg Freeze (1989), Batman: The Animated Series in Christmas With The Joker (1992), Pingu in Pingu's Family Celebrates Christmas (1992), Mr. Bean in Merry Christmas Mr. Bean (1992), Old Bear Stories in Jolly Snow (1993), The World Of Peter Rabbit and Friends in The Tailor Of Gloucester (1993), Noddy's Toyland Adventures in Noddy and Father Christmas (1994), The Powerpuff Girls in Twas The Fight Before Christmas (2003) and Codename: Kids Next Door in Operation: NAUGHTY (2005) over this Garbage, I'll give this a 3/10.
