Newlyweds George and Sally Ainsworth break down in a small time, and find the locals unfriendly, unwilling to help, and downright unpleasant in their attitudes and behaviour, George, a lawyer is keen to learn why.
I rather enjoyed this storyline, for the first ten or fifteen minutes, I felt as though I was watching a sci fi chiller, it had that kind of feel, a sleepy village that had been infiltrated by who knows what, but as you watch, you become aware that the village harbours a chilling secret.
Very watchable, a situation that could well happen, what happen when the law fails, and people feel compelled to deliver their own form of justice.
Very well acted, the hugely charismatic Chuck Connors was excellent as George, that moment where he delivers his speech was terrific.
8/10.
