When a young pizza delivery boy Lenny has his car stolen. Diefenbaker follows it to the car dealership that he just bought it from. The wolf never gives up once he has the scent.
Lenny is out on parole and if he cannot keep his job then he is back inside.
Benton and Ray go undercover and find out that someone in the dealership is stealing back the second hand cars they sell and quickly repaint and put it back to sale.
Ray's sister Francesca turns up thinking she was going on a date with Benton. She ends up helping them out pretending to be a car buyer but ends up mainly feuding with her brother.
Due South maintains its balance of comedy and action. Of course Ray is a natural second hand car salesman. Benton has trouble telling the truth but attracts the ladies attention.
I was unsure why Ray's boss did not want such a scam to be officially investigated. They would be stealing lots of other cars.
