A pretty awesome episode. Great to see Cynthia Nixon as a guest star, and she also got a great story. It is about a woman that has a stroke, and can't communicate while she is aware. They made it so well, transferring her panic towards us, this was the best way to make one think how horrible such a situation would be.

Neela's story about the kids who bring a man as their father but it turns out he isn't one is also pretty good. Especially as we find out that it was done because their mother died and they were basically living with a corpse.

Hope Pratt ends up being chief resident next season, he would be great for it.

Yes the stroke episode was GREAT but what happen with the 3 black children. They are trying to stay together as a family but their story just falls into midair. They are not even listed in the credits.

This episode freaked me out.

I used to have focal motor seizures and they're a lot like the stroke Ellie had in that you're awake, but you can't voluntarily move, Cynthia Nixon does a great job with her inflection in her narration as someone who's trapped in her own body.

I really enjoyed this episode. I'm surprised the rating isn't any higher! I think this might be my favorite episode in the series!

This women was so annoying. She won't shup up I was actually hoping she would die so she wpuld be quiet. Herv oice was very annoying.. Maybe the stroke was a good thing.

I usually skip this episode...it's pretty upsetting to watch. One thing I've never understood...the stroke victim appears to be able to hear and comprehend what's being said to her, but they never (to my knowledge) ask her to blink if she understands. Seems like a pretty obvious thing to do.
