The story of....1993 case comes to mind!!
razaxo19 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The story that stuck out to me the most was of the kid that killed his 8 year old friend. Mainly stuck with me as it has very similarity to 1993 crime case. Where 2 young kids also killed a toddler and made up whole story and lied in the Police interview tapes. They did get some time but mainly liked living kids prison were out early. Also loved great conversation about parenthood between Ross and Nurse Hathaway. We never really know what kids gonna grow up to be but we can try!!! I'm pretty sure my mum had different expectations about and so did I about her. Never thought we would be so different. Just at end we see Hathaway feel like she ready as she help a mum give birth.

Carter having to face his legacy and his relationship with his family. A woman who was born in County 100 years ago comes there for PR with her family.

Peter gets see what his son might go through if he had the surgery for device that will be implanted directly into his brain. We see some doubts in his mind. We see him and Corday drift apart here. It starts to show they have some cracks in their relationship. Peter will always put his son first. Corday made great point about work and rest. What it means to have that balance especially due to human lives are stake. She wants to change the system and SILENCE.

Good Luck, Ruth Johnson (#5.9)

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was kin d of slow inn the first part but I really liked how the stories ended up developing. One great story was about a boy who killed his friend for boots and didn't even regret it. I actually didn't expect this outcome was sure it will be one of the fathers. Like where they went there. I guess mental problems such as psychopathy weren't too known back then that they couldn't understand until the end why the kid did it? And pretty bad that they couldn't put him anywhere for killing his friend because of his age. Hope there is progress now.

It was interesting to find out that the actress who played Ruth Johnson, Anne Pitoniak, had her first part when she was around the age of 50. Shows that one can always have a chance as I see. It was a pretty sweet story, mainly because of her connection with Carter.

I loved Liza's presentation. She described the situation so well. But I am so sad she told Peter they should stay friends. No! I loved them as a couple, oh please please I hope they will get back together.

Gun control/safety?!
Biophil1 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Maybe I watch this with 2022 eyes or maybe the absurdity of it is the whole point, but a storyline about an 8yo shooting and killing another 8yo with the father's gun, and gun control or safety doesn't even come up, and the morale of the story is you can never be sure something bad won't happen is just mind-boggling!
