Tod is unhappy at home, his unemployed father is always shouting at him. But when Marshall suggests some heavy metal to cheer up his friend, Tod finds that he can relate to the lyrics... perhaps a little too much, as he changes dramatically into a rebellious head-banger. Can it be just the music affecting Tod, or is there some Eerie weirdness going on? Meanwhile, Marshall's parents are worried about Syndi's safety as she rides along with a local police officer, pursuing her interest in becoming a reporter.
